Alex quietly let out a deep sigh and reported the diagnosis he thought would be safe to tell Ryley's parents. "He's having a mild fever, definitely exhausted from a long trip."
"I thought so!" Rena and Michael said in unison, then exhaled a relieved breath. "Dr. Griffin, please tell him that he needs to rest more. He wants to go back to New York tomorrow!" Rena said with a concerned look.
The doctor pulled his lips into a faint smile and turned towards Ryley. "You heard that? Your mother is right."
The blond pouted his lips, fiddling with his fingers while keeping his head down, muttering under his breath. "Tsk, I will be fine tomorrow!"

"Mrs. Schwartz," Alex interrupted with a grimace, seeing a chance to make an excuse. He leaned closer and whispered beside Rena's ear. "Can I have a moment with Ryley? I think he can listen to me better if I talk to him privately."
