Kapitel 144: Chapter 143 - Happy Birthday

The chef was confused hearing the blond's question. 

He looked at Lucas with a frown then turned to Ryley and apologized, "Sir, forgive me if it doesn't cater to your taste. But the ingredients are the same as needed for onion gratin soup. Would you like me to list it?" 

Ryley frowned, the soup looked like it was made in an high-end restaurant. It should be appetizing but somehow he suddenly didn't feel like eating it.

But just in case he wanted to satisfy his curiosity, the blond finally took the spoon and scraped the surface, then brought the tip of the spoon to his mouth to sip it.

"Are you sure you didn't use the wrong ingredients?" Lucas grunted in a low voice as he pulled the guard's arm and whispered to his side.

"Sir, you watched me all the time earlier, I cooked it with the normal ingredients. I didn't add anything strange in it." The chef guard answered in a slightly frightened tone.
