“I’m sorry about Cameron,” Sarah whispered to me as we walked ahead of the boys with our coffee cups in hand. “I know he can be dense sometimes, but his intensions aren’t bad…most of the times.”

“It’s not about intensions, Sarah,” I shook my head. “It’s about what he said. Words hold more power than gun and knives, at least sometimes they do. And Cameron just went very personal with his words.”

“I know, and I won’t make any excuses for him either.” Sarah held onto my hand as we continued walking. “Just know that if you want to talk to someone, I’m always here.”

“I know.” I smiled up at her thankfully.

Sarah had pulled me and Cameron out of our rooms this morning, to join her and Darcia on a double date. I had told her it wasn’t necessary since Darcia had driven all the way here on a weekend to spend quality time with her, but Sarah had ‘insisted’, which basically meant that she had threatened both me and Cameron to join her or else…
