Confusion swirled in my mind as I looked at the closed door and what had just happened…

Tawin…had spiked our drinks? But why? What would he get out of this?

I didn’t even understand what locking me and Liam in this room would even accomplish? After all, we were wolves…we could knock down the door at any moment.

But after using nearly all of my effort to get up from the floor and getting into a sitting position…I realized that I had mistaken the effects of alcohol on a werewolf body as well. I was barely sober…and Liam didn’t look any better than me in any aspect…

The least I could hope for was that Tawin would keep his promise and keep Dani safe by getting her home safely…

"What is happeningssss." Liam slurred, rolling over on the floor so he could look up at me. “W-why…why…Tawin?”

“Our drinks…were spikeddd…” I slurred out as well, barely making it to the door as I crawled on my hands and knees like a snake. “Don’t know…wh-why…”
