How complex was my law? It was extremely complex, just comprehending a bit of it was like comprehending a piece of infinity. Even Immortal Sovereign would need at least a few years to sit back and comprehend the profundity of that law.
I looked toward where that genius was located, the world around me meant nothing at this moment, all I wanted to know was who this freak was. How was someone able to instantly comprehend my law, and even push it a step higher?
'Whoever it is sensed I sensed them... they are mocking me, interesting.' I thought while my spirit sense suddenly started growing stronger. One should know, that it was almost impossible for anyone without a spiritual sense to sense the laws. I couldn't sense the laws, I had to watch others who had understood laws to get a good understanding of what laws were. So, I wasn't shocked that someone could improve my law. I knew I would improve it as soon as I got Spiritual Sense. I was shocked that it was so fast.
But If I wanted to take a step forward and fight against that freak, I needed my spirit sense to be able to sense the laws... but that was harder said than done.
"Amazing..." I said with a smile. I closed my eyes, before going on to take deep breaths to ease my soul, and after a moment, I just looked towards the sky with a faint smile. This... this was going to be fun... but I will pay attention to that later. For now, I should turn my attention to those before me.
"Give us some space," I said while looking towards my mother, this to say the least caught everyone off guard, but after giving my mother a look, they realized something was up as we looked alike. They moved away, and in the end, It was just my mother, me, and Xiao Lingxi.
She had long white hair, the same as mine, but hers was longer. She was a beautiful woman, although not on the level of the likes of Chi Wuyao, she was still a beautiful woman, even amongst the experts at the Immortal Sovereign Realm. Her eyes stood out, although not as beautiful as mine, they were extremely beautiful, and of course, came with their unique abilities... although what I found interesting was her cultivation, why was it so damaged. She was at level 3 Immortal Sovereign, but it was clear she used to be at level 7.
"Before we talk, you should know I don't care much that you are my mother. I don't care much about my past, but as my mother, I will at least show you the respect you deserve and hear you out." I said calmly, to which she pressed her lips together, but after a moment, she spoke.
"Thank you. I know I don't deserve this, as a mother I have failed you." She said with a downcast look, but after a moment, she took a deep breath and went on to tell the story behind my birth.
My father was the head of the Wu clan, a clan that was a step weaker than Qin Wentian's old clan. This means this clan was just 2 levels weaker than the Gu clan. My father was good friends with the fairy race head and even formed an arranged marriage between me and the fated person I was to marry.
"Fated?" I asked in confusion, although I could go through Chi Wuyao's memory and just get the answer, I rather just hear it from others.
"Yes, before you were born, we saw there was someone fated to be your wife. The perfect soul mate. She happened to be the fairy race princess, which was perfect. You two would have been born on the same day, it was going to be a special day..." She had a hard time finishing her next words, so I finished it for her.
"It turned out I had trash talent, this would have disgraced the Wu clan. I bet you had made this into a huge deal, and couldn't let news get out of how trash I was... so why didn't you just kill me and cover it up?" I asked in confusion, to which she shamefully spoke.
"They were... I was tired after giving birth, for some reason your birth had put a huge burden on me. Even so, I wanted to hold you. I had a bad feeling seeing your father and many elders were forcing smiles around me... they wanted to erase you. I couldn't let that happen." She said through tears. This is what led to her cultivation dropping.
With her cultivation, normally giving birth shouldn't have put such a huge burden on her. It was normal for immortals to give birth and be able to jump into combat as if nothing happened... that was unless the child they gave to was abnormal.
There was something she also left out. That day, she didn't simply give birth to one person, she gave birth to twins. That twin was ignored by her, after all, he had talent that transcended mine. His talent was far above white grade, it was a blinding golden ray of light that forced even false immortals to look away.
She used the fact everyone's attention was mainly on my twin to get me, before forcing her husband to spill their plans. After hearing his plan to kill me, she instead said she wanted to do it. Of course, her husband didn't believe her. She fled, and many experts followed her, aiming to erase me.
In the end, she pushed herself greatly, but she managed to burn through her cultivation, and after throwing many false baskets within gateways to many realms, she was able to safely ensure that I could at least survive within the lower realm. But that was the most she could honestly do, if her parents were not high-ranking members of the clan, she would have probably been killed for allowing the shame of the clan to live like that... but then again, the chances for me to survive were low.
"The Wu clan would start trying to build a connection with you... don't. Stay away and continue doing what you love. You have proved them all wrong, I couldn't be more proud of you." She said while removing some tears which could not help but fall. but she was truly happy. For so many years, she wanted to come search for her baby. But she couldn't for a few reasons.
The first being that she didn't even know where her child was thrown. She made sure that not even the clan could track down her child, and for added protection, it meant that even she couldn't know.
The second was that her clan had pretty much grown to dislike her, a few people supported her, but as the clan as a whole, they grew to dislike her. Even her other child grew to disdain her, this left her to just close herself away, and try and heal from her damage... that was until she heard her child was in the immortal realm.
"... What a pain," I said while scratching my head, this was a bit complex. I of course knew she wasn't lying, who could lie before my sharp instincts?
Waving my hand, her damaged cultivation was healed, this shocked her. I didn't bother to look at her, instead, I wondered what was the best move to do right now.
"Does this mean you forgive me?" She asked with hopeful eyes, to which I shook my head.
"What is there to forgive, you did your best to protect me... I will start seeing you as my mother. You earned at least that much." I said with a sigh, to which her eyes widened in shock and joy. She wanted to run over and jump into my hands but stopped herself.
"... no, the only reason the clan allowed me to come here was most likely to use me to create a bond with you. I can't." She said to which I shrugged.
"I see you as my mother, I have no connection to the Wu clan... in fact, the fact they have the same sir name as me is offensive. I will get them to change their name later." I said with a shake of my head, to which she was still hesitating, but seeing how little care I gave this... she relaxed somewhat. So, the air went quiet as she didn't know what to do right now.
"You can ask questions if you want," I said seeing her wanting to ask questions, but didn't think it was right. Her eyes brightened at my words before she went on to ask all types of questions.
"How did you grow up in the lower realm? Were you safe?" She asked to which I nodded lightly before going on to explain how my old man found me, and took me in. This caused her to thank the old man from the bottom of her heart. If he didn't find me, there was a chance I could have died in that basket.
She went on to ask more questions, about my age, which was 25 years old. To if I was single, to which was a yes. There were hundreds of questions, and hours quickly passed with us just talking. This was a scene that Xia Qingyue watched from afar, a rare gentle smile unable to help but appear on her face...
Within the Master Teacher realm, it was one of the major worlds where the master teachers were overflowing. What was a master teacher? The number one upper occupation in the entire Master Teacher Realm, as well as the reason for the realm's name. Master Teacher Hall has a branch present in almost every other realm within the Master Teacher Realm.
A Master Teacher is an expert responsible for training the younger generation of the Master Teacher Realm, guiding them in cultivation. Besides cultivating true qi like other martial artists, master teachers cultivate the will of mind, allowing them to find and correct the errors and imperfections in their students' cultivation.
To say the least, the master Teacher realm was amongst the highest grade realms out there, holding some of the strongest humans thanks to this unique path... it happened to be where the True Immortal Academy took up root.
As of this moment, Gu Changga sat back in a chair, his eyes closed. He was asleep, lost in enlightenment within his dreams. He had pushed his system to the extreme, and now it was up to him to bring out his full potential... no, to go past his full potential.
But he was forced out of his dreams, much to his annoyance by the system.
{A new favored son of heaven has been discovered... warning, this favored son of heaven has a system.} Gu Changga's eyes instantly narrowed seeing this, before he smirked. He stood up, since this favored son of heaven was close by, it meant the favored son of heaven had to be in the academy. He couldn't wait to see what a favored son of heaven with a system fortune value would be...
Elsewhere, within the Martial spirit realm, Xiao Yuanba could be seen locked in battle with a dragon. Their punches were heaven-shaking, if they were not in the center of nowhere within the void, who knows what would have happened.
The odd thing about this battle was that the person Xia Yuanba was that he was only an Immortal King, but he could fight against the likes of Xia Yuanba, who had combat strength at level 4 Immortal Soverieng, this guy was somehow skipping a whole realm.
"You're not normal, I also sense you're not a bad guy. Why do you want to conquer this land?" Xia Yuanba asked with a frown. He had just ascended when he saw an army of people who were under the control of someone, forcing them to join his army to conquer a planet. Xia Yuanba of course stepped forward to stop them, forcing the leader to step out to face him.
This was Huang Xiaolong, and if Gu Changga was here to see the fortune value of someone who was at a billion, his jaw would have dropped. This wasn't any favored son of heaven, with such high fortune value, he might as well be the son of creation or something...
