Kapitel 55: 54: Comforting Call; solidarity in art

“Hansheng, you have a call...“ Andrew paused and stared, a dull realisation dawning upon him.

Yan Hansheng turned around and cleared his throat. Then, he blinked almost owlishly and opened his mouth before closing it quietly.

“Ah, right,” Andrew said awkwardly. “I'm sorry I almost forgot..“

Yan Hansheng smiled, shaking his head as he stepped towards his manager and spread his hand towards him.

He was asking for the phone that was still ringing.

Andrew pursed his lips and glanced at the phone in his hand. He then turned his gaze back to the musician and nodded hesitantly.

“It's Mr. Lin.“

Yan Hansheng paused, surprised at the manager's words. Silently taking the phone, he turned the screen towards himself and looked at the name displayed on it.

“Lin FenXiang” it said.

“Um..“ Yan Hansheng made a quiet noise from the back of his throat.

Pulling off the glove from one hand, the musician pressed the button to answer the call and put it against his ear.
