ON HIATUS - The writer is taking a break from this story. It is incomplete. Fiona never felt like she belonged to the modern day world. So when an enchanted gem sends her to another time and place, where vicious beasts and dragons lurk she has no trouble facing her new reality.
What surprises her the most is that the devilishly handsome man she mistakes for a barbaric beast, is really a dragon knight, a hero and protector in this new world.
Withdrawn from society, since a failed marraige and death of his wife, Tiamat had become a notorious recluse, showing interest in little besides his obession of owning his own keep and training the men necessary to retain and defend the castle.
Then, while on one of his scouting missions he spots something glistening beneath the deep blue waters, he chances upon a breathtaking beauty dressed in clothes not from his world.
Despite his suspicions, she awakens his lonely heart to desire a future he never thought could be his.
A modern beauty and a mysterious dragon knight, Fiona and Tiamat are both trying to escape painful pasts, perhaps they can find redemption and love in each other's arms if their enemies don't kill them first.

Oh my gawd! This is such a well written and detailed dragon romance, I love how the author weaves her words and the descriptions are just too detailed it's like I'm watching a movie. I rarely see dragon romance on this platform and this is one of the best. I highly recommend
My first two contracted novels were a learning experience that gave me the opportunity to grow as a writer and learn from my mistakes. My approach to this novel is different, it's more light hearted and a fun read. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy bring Fiona & Tiamat's love story to life, thanks always for the support & encouragement.
The language is neat and easy, the paragraph division is clean. The story it self is enticing, with dialogues and emotions described just right. Try it. You just might like it.
Your writing keeps getting better with every story. I love to see progress, never give up and I hope you get results with Tempted By Dragons because so far it doesn't disappoint, love it!
This is the best romance story that I've read on WN so far. It has a lot of mystery n drama n the tension between Tiamat n Fiona keeps me reading. I never want it to end!

This is one of those rare gems, I loved the writing style and the story line. The descriptions are fascinating and the author does an excellent job in keeping the reader hooked to the most mundane events. Gonna take my time with this one 😊
The plot seems much interesting and involving different themes such as mystery love and issues. I cannot wait to find out how Fiona’s character will develope and evolve

First off, the writing is superb. Not many mistakes, good use of language. I believe I have a wide vocabulary and yet I still found some new words to add. However that’s where a problem arises, the language is a bit complex, barring a lot of readers from understanding completely what a sentence is describing. The story starts out sort of slow, nothing really eye-catching that draws you in, but the descriptions are nice and allow you to picture the scenery. There is a little mystery sprinkled in throughout the chapters starting from chapter 2. Nothing too crazy but certainly present. I believe there is potential to this book, and if you are patient enough, it could be a wonderful read
Hi Nix! I checked out Nix's works from time to time and ended up discovering this jewel! When I write this review, we are only five chapters into the story and I have yet to meet the charming Tiamat! And yet I can imagine that he will easily fall head over heels in our MC Fiona, who at her young age is already shouldering some family secrets that will unveil themselves in due time. The story is vividly described. The author seems to have every scene painted in her head ❤️❤️❤️ it is so easy to imagine what is happening just by reading the magnificent description. The simple walk, the reminiscing about the past, and even the dangerous parts are all so wonderfully written. The fifth chapter ends in a major cliffhanger. I am sitting here, biting into my handkerchief while I wait for the story to continue. Good luck with the story, Author! And all of you mystery lovers who like to read about a strong independent female MC should definitely give this novel a try! ✨✨✨✨✨
