Behind the three commanders were their respective staff teams. Around the space fortress were densely packed human warships of all sorts, all prepped as fleets of carriers for the upcoming battle. The moon was the absolute core of this battle. To fully conquer Kepler, significant resources were expended. Not only must victory be secured, but the degree of casualties must also be controlled. This was Markham's duty.
