Kapitel 22: Chapter Twenty two

"I didn't know you were here in Arran already." Diego said to Ilyas who had his eyes on Alora.

"Well I arrived with my men this morning to come for the supplies of the silk. You must be Lady Alora. It is an honor to finally meet you." Ilyas bowed and she curtsied.

"So Prince Ilyas, you were the one who sent me a golden statute of myself if I'm not wrong." Alora raises her brows and he smiles warmly at her. "Thank you very much. I really appreciate the gift. If there is anything I can do for you, I'd be happy to help."

"Well why don't we get to know each other while my men prepare the things we came to get." Ilyas suggested.

"I'm really sorry to refuse your highness. I'm in the middle of a class with Uncle here. Is that all you demand for?" Alora asked gently and politely.

"Well maybe when I come next time, we can get to know each other better don't you think?" Ilyas raised his brows and she nodded. "Good then we have a deal."

"Is it the usual supply of silk you ordered for?" Diego asked Ilyas whose attention returned to him.

"Yes. And we had some extra in case they are needed. We won't be getting silk again until next three months." Ilyas replied.

"I'm sure you used this opportunity to check in the supply of food to your kingdom too if I'm not wrong." Diego said as the three of them walked around a bit.

"Yes. We had to increase the demand for wheat this month because of the increasing population in out kingdom." Ilyas explained to Diego who juts nodded.

Although Alora didn't understand all they were talking about, she was sure that it was about the business and supply of things to Ilyas' kingdom.

After a few hours, Ilyas left and Diego decided to return to the place. It was past lunchtime already and Alora had to take lunch in her room. She wasn't really surprised when she saw Zayen in her room chatting with Ava.

"Ava aren't you supposed to be helping down in the kitchen?" Alora asked as she climbed into bed and covered her laps with the blanket.

"Well, I just came to have a conversation up here. Is it really true first Lord said what he's telling me here?" Ava asked.

"How am I supposed to know what he is telling you? I don't know what it is unless you specify. But I will tell father agreed to make you marry Zayen there once you reach eighteen, if you can pass the test I would give you." Alora smirked as she dipped her the soup she was eating.

"Why does it have to be you?" Ava asked with a poug because she knew Alora pretty well, she never pities anyone when it comes to tests.

"Have you forgotten that I'm the first lady. Indirectly I'm Zayen's mother because your sister is always like a mother to you." Alora pointed out and Zayen just laughed while Ava couldn't help but whimper.

"When I thought this yet would be easy." Ava buried her face in the pillow.

"Appreciate the fact that I'm willing to give you the test and not push you to aunt Ira or you'll be roasted before the end of the test." Alora rolled her eyes.

"That woman is seriously wicked." Zayen sighed and Alora just chuckled.

"And yes, I met prince Ilyas today." Alora informed as she took the last bite of the rice meat in the soup. "He asked me to extend his greetings to you Zayen. The Prince looks cool on his own."

"Are you checking him out Alora?" Zayen looked at her and she shot him a deadly glare.

"I didn't mean cool like that, I meant he is calm and gentle. Be reasonable for once Zayen." Alora threw a spoon at him which he easily caught before it hit his shoulder.

"I am always reasonable." Zayen boasted.

"Well I've only seen you reasonable once or twice." Alora sneered.

Alora swiftly left the room after eating to go check on the werewolf she had in the palace. She had thought he would have transformed to his human form but it still remained a werewolf and now she was beginning to think that it had lost its human side.

Dinner was unusually quiet that day until Ruger broke the silence. "I heard you did a great job in business negotiation today Alora. Good job."

"Thank you so much father." Alora appreciated.

"Alora you would be coming to the tournament this weekend right? It's been long since we had one." Zayen asked.

"Of course she would. Everyone in this family bis going remember. We're the head of the kingdom." Ruger sighed.

"Well a tournament sounds great. I've never been to one before." Alora looked at Zayen.

"Oh you're going to love it. I'm battling Prince Ilyas' brother, Prince Ileus."
