PRINCE BORIS’S POV
The death of King Godric came at a bad time. I could feel the agitation of my brother’s voice as he growled at Faolan Kurt when he read the response to the edict. I hid behind the pillars and listened to their conversation.
“Morgan Stoic stabbed King Godric with a poisonous blade,” Faolan explained.
“Who cares about this? I want to know where Marama is,” King Astaroth boomed.
“She is dead. Killed by Crown Prince Kloud after she attacked the military camp with a rogue army,” Faolan said, his voice softer than usual.
“Send an edict back to the West Kingdom declaring war,” King Astaroth growled.
“We don't have an army that can match what the West Kingdom has,” Faolan advised.
“We do. I need to go and see the old man Lycan. It is about time I finish what Marama started. We shall use Boris to lead our army, backed up the rogue’s army.”
“Prince Boris will never agree,” Faolan insisted. “And the West Kingdom has the Lykos Lycan. We are unmatched.”
