Garret is in a bad mood.

Jake can also feel it but decided to ignore it. He also knows the reason for it but the secretary remained silent in hopes of keeping his job. Jake is also busy with his own task and has no time to tease Garret today. He still has a lot of documents to tackle on his desk before this day ends.

Garret's foul mood today is because of the dinner date last night. Just like what they had planned, he joined Shayne's parents for dinner. They first told Garret about Shayne's grandfather who is ill before mentioning their engagement. As planned, Garret told them he has no plans to marry Shayne and wants to end their unofficial engagement as soon as possible.
