Kapitel 98: Chapter 98: Bronze-Tipped Arrow
Aleph, Taw, Lila and Ain got left at the palace throne to guard Urchin. When Cyrus and the other team arrived. Taw sprinkled them with the water she got from Hedge Falls. Cyprus and Poldo got unconscious. Bylon was the only one who had her eyes opened.
Cyrus, Ophir, Ain and Kiel sat within the interrogation center fully furnished by Gardenia with her quartz, gemstone and gold. Since Bylon was the only one who was awake. They had her first for the information gathering. Ain was present to confirm all of her story.
"Cyprus and I met when he kidnapped the young prince. He was also the one who inflicted the incubus spirit upon Kiel that pushed him to commit the impurities unto the most feared descendant of Jezebel. Cyprus aimed to shatter Kiel's testimony and integrity."
Bylon professed as she had her head glued unto the floor. Cyrus was about to ask another question when they heared Cyprus rampage on his cell.
Cyrus summoned Natalina to bind and lock Cyprus as they call on the Elders to transport Cyprus for further exorcising. Bylon got turned by Ophir unto her designated cell. Lila was busy in learning all the needed process in hosting the palace. Lila will take over Gardenia's place and responsibility. Ain got anointed by Taw, Yodh, Aleph, Kiel, Cyrus and Ophir to be part of the Tale Bearer.
Evi was grateful to the King that returned their source of joy and proof of God's grace. Evi pampered and made sure to have Ain behaved when he joined in the Royal Aid. Ain's name was Athlai Ivi Neg Ladan. His special gift was to conceal and block anyone's senses. He can cut the space and establish his own.
Ain became the first ever follower and student of Kiel in everything. The old man Poldo got interrogated by the Elders as well. Aleph, Taw, Yodh and Waheb said their goodbye's. The El Oathniel palace continued to their daily routine.
Yet every corner of the palace reminds them of their late queen. Ain would join the trainings but he won't share the table whenever it's meal time. Lehi tried to approach and encourage him to be comfortable but Ain would just nod but won't be present. Ophir was coordinating with the Elders for the healing and inspecting of Cyprus.
For Ophir and Hexel to team up with the Elders it was hectic and physically enfeeble. It was a daily aiding but the demons within Cyprus were still stubborn. The Elders have evaluated the reason behind the minimal vanquishing and they found out that some of their team mates are engaging in impure practices and relations.
The Elders decided to send those who are blocking the intense supernatural battle. That leaves them to have Natalina and Nevi join Ophir and Hexel.
Lehi were helping the King with the current paper works. Kiel is educating and mentoring Ain while Lila is currently learning about the Queen's palace. Urchin was left with Eyel and Mem.
Urchin regain his bright and innocent personality. He would visit Cyrus and play with him since Gardenia used to tend on Urchin. He get along well with Ain. He sometimes join Kiel's class with Ain and would distract the two till evening. Mem would rebuke them non-stop and Kiel would sulk and pout. Eyel would banned Urchin from chocolates but Kiel and Ain would sneak for him.
Ophir got pushed back during the exorcism.It was the last one from the 32 that they have been dealing for almost two months. Cyprus howled and tried to grab Ophir by the neck. Natalina had to craft a chain to restrained Cyprus.
Ophir tried to recall what the demons were telling him.
"deyja! deyja ! deyja !"
When the Elder Sotai searched out the meaning. He had Cyprus locked in his cell. Elder Sotai was known as the best adviser. He is also the leader of the twelve Elders and counsellor . Originally they were part of the Royal Aid but when the decades passed by the people started calling them as ELDERS. Elder Sotai was the old man with silver locks in white rob and wooden rod who always supported Cyrus and his mother. Sotai was the one who eliminated Cyprus to his candidacy for the throne due to the dreams the he received from heaven. He gathered the eight Elders with Ophir, Hexel, Nevi and Natalina.
" The word deyja is an old Norse. It is actually a direct message to Glockenspiel. In our language it means Die." Sotai explained.
Nevi was curious of the history between Cyrus and Cyprus so he inquired.
"Elder Sotai, what exactly happened between the two? How did it end up like this?"
Elder Sotai gestured them to sit down and he spoke.
"It was the usual greediness when it comes to power and authority.Cyprus just reach out with the wrong aid and path. We never ceased to pray for him that he would get home but not at this state."
Hexel was aware of the gist and conflict before. He remembered the whole Kingdom mourning due to the previous King's death. Hexel shared what he knew.
"It was a sudden death and decision. Before King Cyrus was seated. Cyprus sat himself. The holy ground became the demon's playground. So the priest of the Kingdom assembled to fight against him to be dethroned and they prevailed, that's when King Cyrus came back from his quest with a woman who is pregnant our late Queen. Is what I heared from my grandparents."
Their break time got interrupted when Cyprus became farcial that he attacked Poldo and gouged the old man's heart with his bare fingers as he started to laugh with risible. His eyes were pure black. His eye balls were bleeding and he started to pace toward Bylon who screamed for help.
The Elders held hands and prayed as Ophir and his gang helps the witch.
"Our Great Deliverer. You who can vanish and threw any evil at the pit of hell by Your breath. We uplift oh Lord that You would perish, purify and silence the demon who is residing in Your child's member. For You are the liberty of the downcasted. Amen."
