The liquid that was contained within the growths dropped to the floor with a sickening noise, first in one large pool before the remnants dripped down from what was left of the growth that had exploded. Within seconds, the foul stench that came from the growth had wafted across the room, and now assaulted the nostrils of Gus and the others.

While it was indeed a horrid assault on the senses that they had to deal with, that was by far the least of their worries right now. Along with the liquid that had dropped, were dozens of creatures that now began moving their way towards the shuttle and, by default, Gus and the others.
