Maybe he had just said it awkwardly, because there was no way that those who were chosen to work on a ship like this wouldn't understand how each and every part of it worked, no matter how advanced, theoretical, or experimental the technology that it had was. Despite what he actually said, Gus couldn't believe that he didn't know how to use it.

His thoughts were interrupted by the System. As though it sensed a lull within the fight, and knew that there was enough time to give him the notifications of what he had earned without disrupting him in any way.
