Mister Anderson didn't respond, but I could hear the sounds of something moving.

Eventually, I felt a presence that was right in front of me, as if they had their face right up against mine.

I could even smell a faint scent of blood coming from in front of me.

If I had to guess, this was most likely the blood that came from the creature that Gargamel had been working with before.
