A thunderous howl suddenly came from the vibrant forest, penetrating through the trees.

A large and strange creature had appeared there, which took to the skies in the distance, roaring non-stop in Xia Fei's direction as if accepting his challenge.

This creature was roughly twenty meters long, with a body of a dragonfly and the tail of a scorpion. Its eyes were two, black orbs, and its six wings were short and red, flapping all of them rapidly as the creature came flying in the mountain winds, an oppressive aura surrounding it.

It had a strange and sharp maw as if countless, sharp daggers were protruding from it. Its tail was covered in hard chitin, which shook forcefully like a rattlesnake's; a curved and venomous stinger, nearly a meter long, at the end of its tail was aimed right at Xia Fei.
