In the far future of the Milky Way, ambition and courage are key to a civilization's survival. Follow Lucius von Vasilier, a young aristocrat third in line to a fledgling noble house within the Holy Empire, where noble families obsessed with genetic purity vie for dominance. House Vasilier is on the rise, but its meteoric ascent from common soldier to aristocracy may soon rest on Lucius' shoulders.
