Kapitel 8: Her home.

As we were laughing and talking suddenly Noor asked, " By the way, Where is your luggage?"

I looked at her and said while releasing a sigh, " Well, I lost it on my way to the city. Some Mankeys come chasing after me and for running away from them. I have to abandon my things on the road."

Noor said with a horrified expression, " Ohh, That's a really dangerous thing you got to experience. It's good that you came out alive out of that situation."

I nodded and said, " Yeah, I am grateful to god now as I have seen my death very close to my eyes." I suddenly shivered remembering that scene when I was running for my life some hours ago. It was a horrifying experience for me. For 25 years of my life, I have never experienced death so close to me.

Noor nodded and said, " Well, I guess you also got your own life-and-death experience at a very young age." She looked at me with shining eyes. It was just too bright for me to get the admiration of this gorgeous woman.

I tried to calm my thoughts and nodded. I said, " You can say that." but I thought, ' I am not very young though, At least not mentally.'

Noor looked at me and said something unbelievable to me, " How about I give you half of your salary in Advance? You can buy the clothes and other things by using that money for yourself."

I was really surprised to hear this, I asked urgently, " Really? Are you gonna do that? Thank you very much. You don't know how worried I was about my situation. Thank you so much. I owe you a really big one for this."

Seeing my excited expression, Noor started waving her hands sideways and said with a little blush on her face which I unfortunately couldn't see because of darkness. She said, " No worries, no worries. You are my employee now so it's one of my duties to take care of you. You don't have to thank me that many times. I am just doing my duty as your boss nothing else."

I smiled at what she said and suddenly stopped walking. I stood straight and gave her standard salute like a soldier and said, " I will give my all working for you, Captain Noor."

Noor also stood straight and nodded, She said with a serious face, " Good, Private James, I have expected this kind of enthusiasm from a young spartan like you. Good, I am looking forward to your future."

I also said, " Yes, Captain Noor."

Noor then suddenly laughed and said, " Hahahahahaha, Oh my god. That was a good one. I was surprised by when you suddenly stopped but you gave me a good surprise. I didn't think you were a funny boy, little brother James."

I cleared my throat hearing her calling me ' A boy'. Now, I suddenly feel it's weird that someone like me with the body of an 18-year-old young man and a 25-year-old man's brain is called " A boy." But as a self-proclaimed gentleman, I let it slide. I cleared my throat again and said, " Well, I guess, I just got excited. Usually, I am not this kind of person you see. But, You should also know that I am a man and life is war for us. I mean not literally, in some cases yeah but well in my case right now, I was just excited that's why I did something like that but I am really surprised that you followed me up and you also did a very good job."

She suddenly went some steps in front of me, stood straight and Put both of her hands behind her back like a scholar. She looked into the sky creating the image of a great scholar and said, " Life is also a war for me."

I looked at her and said in surprise, " Whoa, That was a good one with the pose. I didn't expect you to like this kind of thing."

She looked at me and said with a wink, " We have just met, So, Of course, you won't know what I like." Then she came closer to me put her hand on my shoulder and whispered into my ears, " But, You will know how am I in the future." Then she turned around and started to walk. She said, " Now let's go, My baby is waiting for me at home."

I woke up from my stupor and thought, ' What the fu*k just happened, Waah Women are scary. She suddenly changed from general to a scholar and scholar to an enchantress like it's nothing. She is an amazing actress. Well, Whatever let's follow her for now.'

What I didn't know was that the woman before me was already totally red-faced. She is seriously embarrassed right now, She is thinking, ' Why I did do that? Oh my god, What does he think of me now? After we came to a semi-residential place, I called it semi-residential because this place has both shops and houses. Every house here is either a two-story building or a three-story building. I looked around the place and found that most if not all houses have one thing in common and that is. Every house's ground floor is a shop and the upper floor is either a shop or home for living.

When we came to this place and walked for some distance suddenly Noor Pointed at one three-story building which had a signboard saying it was a restaurant on the ground floor. She said, " That's my house and restaurant."

I found it was good-looking from the outside. Like the modern cafes from the earth, It's nice to see some modern things in this weird kind of world. I looked around the area and found that many buildings have the same kind of modern design plus I noticed something else too. I notice a bike-like thing parked outside Noor's building. You can say this is the first time I have seen a bike-like thing and this wasn't all. After finding the bike-like thing, I also noticed many other kinds of vehicles parked outside different buildings.

I was so busy talking with Noor that I didn't notice this thing. This again shows the weirdness of this world, but I do not think much about it like before because for me this world is already very weird. I don't care what they have or what they do not have. I guess I will say that it's good to see them again, I guess.

Noor told me to follow her into the building which I did. By the way, The restaurant's Name is " Nurjahan's Restaurant."

I followed Noor inside the building and the first thing that entered my eyes was of course the counter. No one is sitting on it now and I also noticed that the sign 'closed' is settling on the front door. I then look inside to find a big dog-like creature looking at me. He looks cute I would say but he also looks dangerous like a tiger. His fur is also like a tiger's fur but his hair is like a lion's mane. Making it look majestic but at the same time dangerous.

I looked at the creature and the creature looked at me. We were staring at each other when suddenly Noor said, " Hey, Archey, Why are you staring at James like that? He is going to live with us from now on so make sure to get along with him, got it."

The Creature looked at Noor and gave her a nod then it began to rest on the floor of the restaurant. Noor said, " Well, this is Archey, my monster partner. It's an Arcanine species Monster. you don't have to worry about it attacking you as it's an intelligent one."

I gave her a nod and said to Archey, " Nice to meet you, Archey. Let's get along with each other." Archey just nodded and didn't say much. I use my appraisal function on it.

I look at her age and understand why she behaves differently than the Pokemon of Sofia. This Arcanine is a fully grown adult Pokemon, unlike Sofia's Pokemon Which are still can be called Pokemon Kids.
