Xie Yuansheng had asked the artist to smoothen out the wrinkles on the face of the sketch of the old woman. After the artist did that, he sent it to Xie Yuansheng via message. Xie Yuansheng was looking at Feng Xinying who was sitting nearby and cutting an apple for him to eat. When she had cut the apple and served it to him, she made him eat it with her hands. Suddenly there was a ping on his phone. She looked at it and ignored it but he had to see it because he was waiting for the artist to send the photo. 

He extended his hand to get the phone from the table beside him. Feng Xinying was angry that he was in so much pain but still he had to see that message. She took the phone from the table and gave it to him, anger showing on her face. Xie Yuansheng tapped it and saw the face while he opened his mouth to eat another piece of apple, which Feng Xinying had brought close to his mouth.
