Kapitel 526: All The Firepower We Need

"And why aren't you out there trying to do your part against the monster?"

Henry Ford frowned in irritation. Henry could see the looks of interest on the faces of most of the soldiers around as they all waited for him to answer the question, and he just shook his head as he gave a cryptic answer.

"We all have our parts to play in this game, Mark Vanitas. The part I play isn't found in the middle of a battlefield. It's found here."

Mark clicked his tongue in annoyance at the bullshit response. It didn't matter what sort of nonsense duty Henry thought he had to fulfill here. As far as Mark was concerned, someone with as much power as Henry would have been a game changer if he went out and helped against the anima invasion. If Henry had been in the middle of the action, even if he didn't stay on the battlefield for long, Henry would have saved at least a hundred more people.

"Fucking coward."

Author's Tidbit: For a while, at the start of the story, my sister suggested I make the guy in the chair a female instead of a male and make her the main love interest for Mark. But i turned it down ccause of the dynamics that I needed them to have and went for Pat. The guy in the chair is a guy for a reason, in my opinion. And as it turns out, Pat is now my sister's favourite character, after QUEEN, of course.

I still worry about her sometimes.
