The dock worker glanced at them with a furrowed brow.
"Amenoa, you say? I'm afraid you just missed the last ship bound for Amenoa. It departed two days ago, and there won't be another ship heading there for at least a week."
Ervian's jaw dropped in disbelief. He had been counting on catching a ship to Amenoa and continuing their journey without any significant delays.
The news that the last ship had already departed two days ago shattered his hopes into pieces.
"H-how long will it take for another ship to Amenoa?" Ervian followed up with another question.
"If nothing out of the ordinary happens and everything goes according to plan, it will take another two or three weeks."
Ervian froze at the moment upon hearing the answer, while Adelle was grinning. "So I guess we're stuck here?"
"To travel such a distance, extensive preparations are necessary. Not all ships can withstand such a journey. So, my best advice for you is to wait," the worker remarked.
