Kapitel 17: 017 Lily

'It's time!' Aurelius muttered inwardly as he pulled away from Griselda.

His mind was getting clouded with lust and before he pounced on his dear devotees, 'I have to finish the purpose of coming here!'

He then glanced at Griselda, who was pouting cutely; her rounded cheeks looked like that of a chipmunk as her green eyes stared at him, pleading not to end it.

CHUCKLE

He chuckled at her before turning toward Lilith, his eyes shone briefly in victory before they darted toward the trio, the first devotees of Aurelius.

The trio glanced back at him with a smile with their eyes exuding utter devotion.

He then turned toward coming here and doing all of this, Aria's friends.

There were, in total, six of them, varying from Level 3 to Level 5.

Mira, the shirt girl with freckles, was level 3, with two others being the same level as her.

Anna, the tall girl who was sceptical of Aurelius at the start, is level 4, with another one keeping her company.

And the last one, with her being the only one at level 5 is Lily, who was currently glaring daggers at her mother and Aurelius.

'I can't believe mother kissed him!' She yelled inwardly in frustration as she scrunched up her face at her mother.

Her heart was in turmoil as her mother was a role model to her, and seeing her like this made her confused and lost.

'She looks like a bitch in heat!' She exclaimed inwardly as she noticed her mother's bountiful chest heave up and down.

Her eyes then turned to Aurelius, who was smirking as he observed her frustration.

'All of this is because of this bastard! What did he do to mom!' She clenched her fist tightly and her friends could hear the grinding of her teeth.

Aurelius's smile widened as he watched Lily more. 'This will be fun!'

STEP

He took a step towards her, startling Lily and grabbing the attention of the teenage girls.

His deep blue eyes roamed her body, devouring it whole.

GULP

Aria's friends gulped as they observed Aurelius's eyes that were oozing out possession.

"D-Don't come any closer!" Lily almost yelled, breaking the silence in the hut.

Aurelius's smile widened even more while his devotees frowned at her words.

Lilith was especially pleased by her daughter's actions, 'She is making a huge mistake! I should educate her before my lord gets angry!'

Her eyes darted around, thinking of a solution. But before she could say anything Aria said, "Lily, that's not how you talk to His Holiness!"

Lily turned toward Aria with her glaring eyes, staring holes at her friend, "You are the one who did this! You brought us to him and look!" She said while pointing her hand at her mother, "Look what happened!"

Aurelius's devotees frowned as they tilted their heads, 'What happened to her?' They asked themselves as they looked at Lilith, trying to find any changes.

"And what happened to me, my daughter?" Lilith asked as she stared back at Lily.

"You!" Lily butted out in shock; her eyes widened, and her whole body was trembling as she pointed her hand at Lilith and said, "Are you really asking me that!?"

'No! What happened to her!? She betrayed father and is acting innocent! Doesn't she feel guilty!?'

Her mind was in turmoil as the images of the happy moments she had with her mother and father together as a family kept repeating in her mind.

Her body started trembling while tears formed at the end of her eyes. "I-It's because of you," she whispered as she glared at Aurelius.

She blamed him for the destruction of her family, as there was no way her mother was going back to her father.

The women in the hut watched in silence as Aurelius reached her, he swept off his smirk and adorned a small smile.

He lifted his hands to wrap around Lily but, "DON'T TOUCH ME!!" Lily yelled as she backed away from him.

Her black eyes turned red with tears flowing down, her shoulders were slumped, trembling once in a while.

Her situation was miserable, 'I lost my family!' She cried inwardly as she felt a strong pair of hands tightly wrapped around her.

"LET ME GO!" She yelled as she knew who it was. Aurelius didn't reply nor did he let her go. He just simply hugged her and began to rock side to side.

'BASTARD!' She raged inwardly as she tried to struggle and slip out of his arms but to no avail.

She struggled for a few moments before she gave up and sobbed on his chest.

WAAH WAAH

Her wails filled the silence hut, turning the air heavy. Aurelius knew that he was destroying families and he was going to destroy many more, but that didn't stop him.

'Whichever the world might be, fantasy or my previous one. The strong dictates the rules; it's a dog-eat-dog world, and the only way you can survive is to become the one with the strongest, sharpest and largest teeth!'

While Lily was sobbing and Aurelius was thinking about the consequences of his actions, Lilith stared at the duo not wanting to disturb them.

'My lord will take care of her!' She thought with a smile on her face as she knew. 'Not everyone could get his attention!'

She knew he would have more women in the religion and there would be competition to get his attention, 'but I didn't have to worry about that for my daughter!'

She mumbled with a smile as she knew, for whatever reason Aurelius took a liking to her daughter, maybe because she was rebellious or because of something else.

"But that doesn't matter, she will become someone important in my lord's religion!" She whispered, her voice firm as if she believed it with her entirety.

SNIFF

A few minutes had passed, and Lily had calmed down visibly; she was still sobbing, but they were much more the ones who came out of helplessness rather than denial and desperation.

"Have you calmed down?" Aurelius whispered while he began to gently rub her back. 'I have to do it gently!' He murmured to himself.

He knew this was his chance, his chance to peacefully convert Lily without forcing her.

Lily didn't reply to his question and kept sobbing. She didn't want to give power to him by answering him.

Aurelius smiled as he didn't mind the silence and continued, "Did you really think I would strip you of your happiness?"

"Huh!?" Lily weakly exclaimed as she pulled her face away from his chest.

Her black eyes met his deep blue eyes that were glowing softly with bright light as he continued,

"I promised to you before, haven't I? I promised that I would make all my devotees happy and would give them a community that they can call home."

Lily looked at him with her tired eyes, a little spark of hope lit in them, hoping that what Aurelius said is true, after all, 'I have no other choice but to believe so.'

"You think you have lost your family, but did you?" Aurelius asked, not only making Lily question herself but also the other girls.

'Have I not lost my family? Mother is now with this man and father will kill himself if he knows what happened!'

She then turned toward Aurelius with hate exuding out of them, she was going to say yes and that she lost her family but Aurelius interrupted her.

"You still have your mother, who loves more than you could ever imagine." Aurelius said as he looked into the hate brimming eyes of Lily.

Lily turned to look at her mother and was surprised to see her always stern face soften and look at her with affection.

It wasn't like Lily thought her mother didn't like her but acknowledge that her mother being stern was the way she wanted to show her mother love.

Aurelius then turned toward the other girls, and with a small smile that made the girls give up and surrender to him right there, he continued,

"You all will have your mothers, sisters and grandmothers who will love you dearly. And not only your blood relation, everyone one of my followers will treat you as an equal and help you as their own family."

The trio– Aria, Elara and Sarah, looked at each other with a knowing smile. Although Elara and Aria were close with Sarah before Aurelius entered their lives, they weren't as close they are now.

'It feels new, like I am part of something greater!' Elara muttered inwardly.

"Yes, I admit! I am taking men off your lives, but I am giving you much more. I am giving you a community, protection and safety. And finally I am giving you all my love!"

He proclaimed as he opened his arms wide. He had already activated his divine charm to help manipulate the girls and turned toward Lily.

His eyes shone with confidence and possession as he muttered, "Now, it's time for you to choose! Whether you want to live a sad and pitiful life with your absent father or you can live happily with your new family that is full of love and affection."
