Alisa's question was indeed pertinent to the needs of the Storm Fleet. The T3 Copper Hammer wasn't sufficient for constructing most T4 starships anymore. In other words, it was time for an upgrade.
Fortunately, Feng Mo had accumulated a significant amount of points, without a clear plan on what type of starship to exchange for. Since Alisa had raised the issue, it made sense to prioritize exchanging for a T4 interstellar industrial ship.
"Alisa, the T3 Copper Hammer is entirely adequate for constructing the hull of a T4 Blade and Shield-class Interstellar Frigate. As for the raw materials needed for construction, Hua Qin will coordinate with the Chen family to supply them in large quantities. I want the first batch to consist of forty-eight ships, fully armed for the Storm Fleet. The decommissioned T2 Black Bears can be reassigned to the Elf Fleet," Feng Mo commanded.
At present, Feng Mo commanded three main fleets: the primary Storm Fleet, composed of a mix of T4 and T3 starships, maintaining around seventy to eighty ships; the Explorer Fleet, which focused on exploration and boasted a diverse array of over twenty ships; and finally, the Elf Fleet, which handled defense and patrol duties, comprising over three hundred T3 and T2 starships.
Typically, small fleets ranged from twenty to one hundred ships, medium fleets from three hundred to a thousand, and large fleets could have up to tens of thousands of starships. It was said that the Radiant Empire's Celestial Fleet, a large fleet, boasted a force of eight thousand mixed T5 and T4 ships, stretching across multiple planets when deployed, practically eclipsing the skies.
Feng Mo dared not dream of such might for now. His short-term goal was to turn the Storm Fleet into the strongest small fleet of mixed T5 and T4 ships.
After wrapping up the discussions and seeing Alisa and Hua Qin off, Feng Mo hoisted Ai Er over his shoulder, beckoning Kailan, who had been waiting nearby. The three retreated into a room to share an intimate connection.
Since it was their first time engaging so openly, Ai Er and Kailan were initially shy. However, with Feng Mo's playful encouragement, they gradually embraced the moment, and the three shared an intense encounter that lasted from afternoon until late into the night.
The next day at noon, Feng Mo slowly opened his eyes, seeing two pairs of affectionate gazes. The two women had woken earlier but stayed in bed so as not to disturb him. Feng Mo happily held the two fragrant bodies, savoring the rare tranquility.
He reminded himself to check if any new missions had refreshed. Activating the Ember System, he focused on the mission panel and paused at what he saw.
[Mission: Annihilate the Demon Star System. Personally eliminate the Demon Lord. Reward: 3,000 points, T4 Combat Armor Upgrade Blueprint]
[Temporary Mission: Rescue the Succubi Clan trapped in the depths of the Demon Star System. Reward: 1,000 points, T4 Kangaroo-class Interstellar Destroyer]
"Ai Er, where did you settle your clan when you fled after your defeat?" Feng Mo asked.
Ai Er was surprised. She hadn't expected Feng Mo to inquire about her people. It was clear from his tone that he was genuinely considering rescuing them, which deeply moved her. "I placed them on a small star at the edge of the Demon Star System. Given the system's vastness, it might take a long time to locate them," she replied.
Feng Mo shook his head. "Not necessarily. From the Demon Lord's movements, it feels as if he has the entire Demon Star System under his control. It's likely your people have already been enslaved. No matter. Get up and summon Silia to the office."
Sensing an ominous feeling, Ai Er quickly contacted Silia via her smart terminal and then helped Feng Mo dress in his combat uniform. The three of them made their way to the office.
"Now, get in touch with the Demon Lord and tell him that the Lord of the Storm Star System wishes to discuss a slave trade," Feng Mo instructed.
"Yes, Commander," Silia promptly responded, initiating a video call with Horlaw, the minotaur. When the call connected, Feng Mo cut straight to the point.
"Horlaw the Minotaur, right? Get your Demon Lord to speak with me directly. I am Feng Mo, Lord of the Storm Star System."
Horlaw bowed deeply. "Honorable Storm Lord, it is my pleasure to serve you. I will contact the Demon Lord immediately. Please hold."
The screen turned black, and after fifteen minutes, the video resumed. Horlaw had arrived at a magnificent palace. The video gradually clarified, showing a red-haired man in black combat gear seated on an enormous throne. The man had a pair of bull-like horns, with a flame-shaped orange mark between his brows.
Feng Mo raised an eyebrow. This appearance seemed oddly familiar, though he couldn't recall where he had seen it before.
"Honorable Storm Lord, allow me to introduce myself: I am Lawrence, Demon Lord. It is a pleasure to meet you," the man greeted.
"Honorable Demon Lord, I am Feng Mo of the Storm Star System. The reason for my sudden contact is to discuss a slave trade. Recently, Succubi slaves have become scarce in the Federation. The Storm Star System wishes to purchase a large batch. What do you think?" Feng Mo asked, wearing a grin that any man would understand.
Lawrence returned the smile but secretly held disdain for Feng Mo. A man so influenced by women was no worthy opponent. The Storm Star System under his command could only cling to a corner of the Interstellar Human Federation.
"Oh, my friend, you must know that Succubi are rare commodities across the universe. What price is the honorable Storm Lord willing to pay?" Lawrence asked, his interest piqued.
Feng Mo was pleased. As long as they could negotiate, it meant Lawrence wasn't hiding anything. "If you can provide a substantial number of Succubi, I can offer star credits, starships, blueprints, or even raw dark matter and dark energy crystals."
Lawrence's eyes lit up at the mention of dark matter and dark energy crystals. Even with his usually unshakable composure, he couldn't hide his excitement. The Demon Star System had no natural deposits of such resources, and his attempts to locate a white hole had been fruitless. Without dark matter and dark energy, even the T5 starship blueprint he had acquired from a deal with Elder Qiao was useless.
"My friend, if you can provide large amounts of dark matter and dark energy crystals, the Succubi are yours. If you manage to fill five T3 transport ships with these materials, I might even trade you an entire Succubi clan," Lawrence said, barely concealing his eagerness.
Feng Mo felt a chill. It seemed Ai Er's
people had already been found, but the act had to continue.
