Kapitel 7: Chapter 07
The north is an endless stretch of land, covered by deep layers of snow formed over hundreds of years. stretching as far as the eye could see, like a canvas unstained by an artist's brush, eternally sealed in its raw form.
The North is often associated with several words by those who have set foot there. It was called harsh, for no soft man or woman survives there. Solitude, Northerns are known to keep to themselves and in most cases come about as heartless people, and finally death, when it's said that a man has gone north in most cases he would be presumed dead.
Radhan, atop the eagle, wrapped in tight clothing sat crossed-legged observing the palace-like structure as the bird circled to land.
Frozen Cloud Asgard from up the sky seemed to blend with its surroundings, made with crystal-like stones and spreading across two kilometers of land. a central Grandoise Palace circled by rows of tightly knitted pavilions and halls, and a central courtyard facing the crystal-like main gate.
* Whoosh *
The eagle dived toward the courtyard facing the palace and landed with a strong flap of its wings, blowing wind and ice in all directions.
'' Finally, after two days we've arrived '' Chu Yueli said as she dismounted from her mount.
Radhan jumped down as well and shook the snow covering his coat. He looked around to observe his surroundings. He couldn't help but notice the ethereal air emanating from the place, and the shocked faces of the many beautiful girls as they pointed at him
' This place smells old as if it had been sealed off for thousands of years.
And these women, they look like they've never seen a male before. '
'' They would not try to attack Yuanba, would they?" '' Qingyue questioned as she moved her body to stand in front of her brother
'' No, they won't as long as I'm with you." Chu Yueli assured her. trying her best to hide how nervous she felt.
Suddenly a cold aloof voice sounded
'' Little Sister who have you brought with you? ''
As the voice fell a chill spread through the air. a woman of absolute beauty and nobility made her way to stand in front of the group. Her blue eyes looked at the group and stopped at Radhan for a long time as she stated.
'' What's the meaning of this sister? Why did you bring a male here? ''
Fairy Chu took a deep breath and said with a steady voice
'' I know the rules don't allow it elder sister, but I have my reasons for doing so and I can't talk about it here. I'll go to discuss it with the Palace mistress. I assure you that it's nothing but beneficial for our Frozen Cloud Asgard. ''
Chu Yuechan contemplated her sister's words for a bit and replied
'' Let's go and meet the mistress. I hope that you have a valid reason ''
With that, she turned and headed for the palace. The pair of siblings followed behind at a leisurely pace. Qingyue felt nervous inside, she had never gone beyond the boundaries of her hometown, and now they were in an unknown land, surrounded by strangers who didn't like the presence of her brother in their midst.
She looked at him, Xia Yuanba was the ever mystery to her. He was the pillar that helped her stand up and the light that guided her from a young age.
As she grew up she began to realize that her brother wasn't normal like the children of his age, his eyes were deep and heavy like a soldier who saw too much and was the never same after he returned home. He hid a lot of secrets, however, nevertheless, she knew her brother cared deeply about her, and that was all that mattered to her.
The palace gates opened, revealing a domed main hall with several doors on both sides, an ornate crystal door stood facing the entrance as several disciples and women frolicked about, each busy and attending to different matters.
When they stepped in and started traversing the hall, everyone paused what they were doing and looked shocked at Radhan.
Chu Yuechan seemed to realize this and increased the pace, once she was in front of and adjacent door to the audience hall she stopped and said quietly.
'' Both of you wait here and don't go anywhere. We'll go and talk to the palace mistress, we'll call upon you in a while ''
After that, they guided the sibling to rest inside and departed to meet their master. Chu Yuechan knocked on the door and went in. She found her master sitting with several of her sisters in discussion. most likely talking about Chu Yueli's, rules disregard.
'' Master, I've brought Chu Yueli '' She bowed, gave a brief glance to her sister, and stepped to the side.
Gong Yuxian, the Palace Mistress, appeared to be around thirty to forty years old. Her mannerisms conveyed a sense of dignity and authority, with blue hair and blue eyes she was quite charming as a sect master.
She focused on her second disciple and daughter, for she was the one who picked and raised the pair of sisters when they were abandoned. In front of her daughters, she couldn't help but lower her hard attitude a little as she said.
" Yueli, you've never broken any rules before and upheld our sect's reputation with high regard, nor that I imagine you would do something without reason like today, I'll give you a chance to properly explain yourself ."
Chu Yueli felt relieved that she could explain herself. 'That's good as long they would listen to me, everything can be discussed. '
And so she began talking about her journey, and how it had taken her to Floating Cloud City. And the more she talked, the more serious the expression on the women's faces became.
'' … at that time it was hard for me to imagine that, in a remote corner of the empire, I'd find such a pair of siblings. A 12-year-old girl in the 9th level of the spirit profound realm and her one-year younger brother in the middle of the Earth profound realm.

Chu Yuechan immediately complied and left the hall, leaving her master lost in thoughts.
' The thousand-year calamity is nigh…The pair of siblings... Is it a sign of time? Did heaven send them to help us prepare?… ' Gong Yuxian felt her thoughts become chaotic the more she thought about the prophecy, the weight of responsibility as the Frozen Cloud Asgard's Mistress made her lean toward choices she'd never thought about doing before…
The main hall doors opened, breaking her from her thoughts, and the two youngsters with the Fairy of Frozen Glass in the lead entered.
Radhan followed her and stood in front of the audience, he calmly observed every face in the room and noticed their striking beauty and it seemed to him that for one to be accepted into the sect they must possess a certain level of beauty, his eyes fell on the palace Mistress who was quietly looking at the pair and thought to himself.
' She's strong and experienced... and looks quite used to wielding authority. Hmm when it comes to a fight with someone of her caliber, without relying on my soul power, I'll have to reveal a few tricks I've hidden to take her down. '

Chu Yuechan couldn't continue the barrage for so long and she began to feel the pressure. when none of her projectiles managed to land on him.
When the last lotus exploded in a shower of ice and light, Radhan appeared in his first position.
He looked around the arena that became covered with frost then looked at her and said
'' let me show you something you've never seen before. ''
He lifted his hand and profound energy started to materialize, in less than a second a giant violet bow almost 2 meters in height with flashing runes inscribed along its limb appeared in his hand.
He went into position and pulled the string, an arrow made of energy and runes materialized between his fingers. He took aim at her and then released the arrow.

The arrow broke the sound barrier several times and reached Chu Yuechan in an instant
At the same time When Chu Yuechan saw that he materialized a bow, she immediately used her Frozen Cloud barrier skill to defend herself.
But all she managed to see was a flash… as the arrow pierced through the barrier as if it was made of paper, then went past her head and pierced the Sect walls, flying to an unknown distance.

Silence.. everyone found no words to describe the scene before them…
Chu Yuachan ranked first among the Seven Fairies lost instantly… and if the arrow had been aimed at another place other than the space beside her head, she would be a corpse on the ground by now.
Gong Yuxian felt her heart beating faster and faster as if it wanted to escape her chest.

'' Frozen Cloud Asgard Disciples!! '' She addressed the disciples in a loud voice using a sound technique.
'' I'd like to announce that two new faces will be joining us from today on. I want you to welcome them into our fold, Xia Qinguie and her brother Xia Yuanba who will be the first male disciple in our history ''
The disciple below sheered loudly in welcome for the siblings
After a few moments, she continued '' I know that many of you have questions regarding accepting a male into our sect, but I want you all to trust your Palace Mistress in this matter."
She looked at the pair of siblings, where the sister was hugging her brother in happiness, and said.
'' Welcome to Frozen Cloud Asgard. ''
