Then, she proceeded to ask, "What about me? What am I to you?"

"What do you think you are to me?" Lucian threw back the question with hostility in his tone. His eyes were thick with hatred towards Rye.

At this, Rye broke out into laughter and stated, "It would be a pity if you fell for her. Soon, she will disappear. I will make her disappear. Then, you will be mine to own."

A frown formed on Lucian's face at it before he replied, "Do as you please."

In order to not deal with her antics any longer, he stepped out of the room, and at that, Rye's eyes only darkened. She badly wished to destroy something but could only hold herself back.

She looked at her bad health and was mad at Valerie. Because of Valerie, she had to suffer.

"Pathetic," she mumbled.
