When Dom's black SUV pulls into the circle and I watch the two of them get out, I know I have my work cut out for me. Thank God Matvey is in a meeting and will be busy for hours, because it's obvious with the way their eyes keep drifting to one another that this is the woman Dominik is in love with, not the one who is pregnant with Ivan's child.

I was hoping this thing between them was just a crush or infatuation, but when they get closer to the front door, I can see that the soft glow of their auras have become twinned. They weren't that way last night. Dominik Volkov and Vanessa Ricca are mates?
