Kapitel 46: In the Genes

While Vanessa is in the shower, I empty all the drawers in the room to keep myself busy. Maybe I should leave. Maybe I should go to my own room or down to the kitchen, but I'm afraid to leave her alone now. 

Who knows what else might happen? It's a good thing scrappy little Natalia didn't have a weapon on her.

I was worried to leave her alone in the library last night, too. That's the reason why I stayed. It was that or wake her. But apparently I made the wrong choice, because this happened anyway. 

I'm getting a lock put on this bedroom door today, immediately. That's my next priority after making sure Vanessa doesn't need another visit from the doctor.

Vanessa comes out of the bathroom with wet hair, back in the clothes she was wearing before. She's so hard to understand. Yesterday, she was crying in the bathroom of the pizzeria after I called her a bratty sister, but after getting attacked by Natalia, she's as strong as ever.
