While it seemed like the referee was really talking them up, it was easier to understand that the celestial sea academy had shown up with a solid strategy and a few very powerful tamers. Unfortunately, Clark was the key to everyone's success here.

Clark had made sure that even the weakest of their group had been brought to a new level of understanding. Where many would have just been standing equal while being able to have a taming space, Clar had ignored that. Grace and Jerold lacked a taming space. That was seen as a weakness. Yet, here they were with beasts that were stronger because they had focused on their growth instead of a taming space.
