Kapitel 142: Chapter 142

[Third Person's PoV]

The Scarlet-Spider rushed towards the 2-meter tall woman, Ursula, and jumped up to kick her. Ursula's face tightened a bit as she felt the pressure from Scarlet-Spider's kick in her forearm which she used to block.

The powerful blow staggered Ursula slightly, but she quickly recovered, her bear-like strength and endurance evident in her stance.

Scarlet-Spider landed gracefully and immediately shot a web at Ursula, aiming to entangle her legs. Ursula scoffed in defiance, slashing at the web with her sharp claws, severing it before it could fully restrain her. She charged at Scarlet-Spider with a speed that belied her size, her claws ready to strike.

Scarlet-Spider leapt into the air, flipping over Ursula's head and shooting a web at a nearby lamppost. She swung around it, gaining momentum before kicking Ursula in the back. Ursula stumbled forward but remained on her feet, her endurance allowing her to withstand the impact.

"You've got some moves," Ursula growled, turning to face Scarlet-Spider. "But it'll take more than that to bring me down."

Scarlet-Spider smirked under her eye mask. "Good. I was hoping for a challenge."

Ursula charged again, her massive frame barreling toward Scarlet-Spider. The agile hero shot a web to the ground and used it to catapult herself over Ursula's charge, landing behind her. Scarlet-Spider quickly shot webbing at Ursula's back, attempting to pin her arms to her sides. But Ursula flexed her muscles, the webbing straining and snapping under her immense strength.

Before Ursula could turn around, Scarlet-Spider shot web lines at both of Ursula's wrists and yanked hard, pulling Ursula's arms apart. Ursula roared in frustration and used her brute strength to pull Scarlet-Spider toward her. Scarlet-Spider let go of the webbing just in time to avoid being pulled into Ursula's grasp, flipping backward to create some distance.

Ursula swiped at Scarlet-Spider with her claws, the sharp tips barely missing as Scarlet-Spider ducked and weaved around the attacks. She countered by shooting a web at Ursula's face, temporarily blinding her. Taking advantage of the moment, Scarlet-Spider landed a series of rapid punches and kicks, each one hitting with pinpoint accuracy.

Ursula bellowed in rage, tearing the webbing from her face and swinging wildly. One of her powerful swings connected, sending Scarlet-Spider crashing into a nearby car, denting the metal. Scarlet-Spider winced but quickly shot a web at the ground, pulling herself to her feet.

"You're tough, I'll give you that," Scarlet-Spider said, shaking off the pain.

Ursula snarled, her eyes filled with fury. "I'm not done yet."

Scarlet-Spider shot a web at a nearby building and swung up onto its side, sticking to the wall. Ursula, undeterred, charged at the building and leapt, her claws digging into the brick as she began to climb after Scarlet-Spider. Scarlet-Spider shot a web at Ursula's hand, sticking her to the wall and slowing her progress.

Ursula roared in frustration, tearing at the webbing, but Scarlet-Spider didn't give her a chance to break free. She swung around, using her webs to build momentum, and kicked Ursula in the chest with full force. The impact sent Ursula crashing to the ground, creating a small crater in the asphalt.

Scarlet-Spider landed gracefully next to Ursula, who groaned and tried to stand. Before she could, Scarlet-Spider shot webs at her wrists and ankles, pinning her to the ground.

"It's over" Scarlet-Spider said, her voice firm. "You're not going anywhere."

Ursula struggled against the webbing, but even with her incredible strength, she had to use great force to break free. With a final, powerful flex, she tore through the webbing, standing tall once more.

Scarlet-Spider sighed. "Come on, why are we even fighting?"

Ursula paused for a moment, her eyes narrowing. "I'm fighting to secure a better future for my children."

Ursula's words caused Scarlet-Spider to freeze as she wasn't expecting such an answer. Seeing the momentary hesitation, Ursula seized the opportunity and tackled her with a powerful force. The impact sent them both crashing through a storefront window, shattering glass and sending debris flying.

Scarlet-Spider groaned as she hit the ground, the wind knocked out of her. Ursula was on her in an instant, pinning her down with her immense strength. Scarlet-Spider struggled beneath Ursula's weight, her mind racing. She managed to get one hand free and shot a web at Ursula's face, temporarily blinding her. With a burst of strength, she pushed Ursula off and rolled away, catching her breath.

Ursula wiped the webbing from her eyes and charged again. Scarlet-Spider leapt onto a nearby wall, sticking to the surface and looking down at Ursula. Ursula roared in frustration, leaping up and slashing at Scarlet-Spider with her claws. Scarlet-Spider dodged, flipping over her and landing gracefully on the ground.

Ursula charged again, but this time Scarlet-Spider was ready. She shot webs at Ursula's feet, sticking her to the ground, and swung around, delivering a powerful kick to her side. Ursula staggered but broke free of the webbing once more, her endurance seemingly endless.

Scarlet-Spider exhaled sharply, "Come on, now I don't really want to fight you, you seem like I good person–"

"Enough with the talking!" Ursula shouted as she rushed towards Scarlet-Spider, her claws ready.

Scarlet-Spider couldn't help but groan in frustration, she flexed her back causing metal white mechanical spider legs to come out, with pink tips charging with electricity,

Scarlet-Spider barely dodged, feeling the rush of air as Ursula's claws sliced through the space where she stood. She activated her mechanical spider legs, electricity crackling ominously.

With a sudden leap, Scarlet-Spider soared above Ursula, launching a volley of webbing. The sticky strands wrapped around Ursula's arms, but the bear woman ripped through them with terrifying ease, her claws slicing the web like paper.

"Not enough!" Ursula snarled, lunging again.

Scarlet-Spider darted sideways, narrowly avoiding another deadly swipe. She retaliated with a quick jab with her spider legs to Ursula's side, drawing first blood. The bear woman howled in rage as her skin tore, crimson staining her fur.

Ursula turned, fury igniting in her eyes. "You'll pay for that!" She charged, claws glistening with menace.

Scarlet-Spider sprang backward, firing a bolt of electricity from her spider legs. It struck Ursula, causing her to stagger, but the bear woman shook it off, her endurance proving formidable.

"Come on!" Scarlet-Spider yelled, fueling her own adrenaline as she closed in for another strike. She delivered a series of rapid punches, each landing with a thud, but Ursula absorbed the hits, a grim smile on her bloodied face.

In a wild swing, Ursula caught Scarlet-Spider across the chest, sending her sprawling. Pain surged as the claws dug into her suit, drawing more blood. Scarlet-Spider grit her teeth, pushing through the pain.

With a swift motion, she rolled to her feet, her eyes blazing with determination. "I'm not done yet!"

She unleashed her mechanical legs, launching herself into the air and coming down hard on Ursula's shoulders. The impact sent them both crashing to the ground, dust swirling around them.

Ursula howled in fury, trying to shake Scarlet-Spider off, but she clung on, delivering a brutal series of punches. Blood sprayed as her fists connected, each strike sending ripples through Ursula's powerful frame.

With a feral roar, Ursula managed to throw Scarlet-Spider off, but the web-slinger landed agilely, ready for another round. They circled each other, both battered and bloodied, the fight escalating as they charged once more, determined to finish it.

With a final clash, the two collided, each unleashing their full power in a desperate bid for victory, the ground shaking beneath them as they fought on, refusing to yield.

Scarlet-Spider jammed her spider legs into Ursula, causing her to let out a bear-like roar. Scarlet-Spider unleashed bolts of electricity from all four of her spider legs, making Ursula grit her teeth in pain.

Despite being electrocuted, Ursula tried to attack Scarlet-Spider, but the electricity coursing through her body was sapping her strength.

As she fell back, she swung her claws but missed, hitting the ground with a thud.

Steam rose from her body as she twitched slightly, blood escaping from the four wounds while she was unable to move a muscle.

Scarlet-Spider quickly tended to her wounds and secured her safely. Although Ursula couldn't move, she was still wide awake.

"Are you ready to start talking?" Scarlet-Spider asked, raising an eyebrow and placing a hand on her hip.

Ursula glanced to the side, biting her lip. She closed her eyes, sighed, and nodded her head.

Ghost-Spider leaped from rooftop to rooftop, her senses on high alert as she narrowly avoided Frostbite's lethal claws. The snow leopard woman moved with the precision of a trained assassin, her spotted fur blending seamlessly with the environment, making her harder to track.

As Frostbite lunged, Ghost-Spider twisted mid-air, instinctively using her spidey senses to gauge the danger. She landed softly on the edge of a building, quickly turning invisible.

Frostbite skidded to a halt, scanning the area. "You can't hide forever," she taunted, her voice low and dangerous.

Ghost-Spider remained silent, holding her breath as she focused on the faint sounds around her. She spotted Frostbite's movement, creeping closer, her instincts razor-sharp.

With a sudden burst of energy, Ghost-Spider reappeared behind Frostbite, delivering a swift kick to her back. The snow leopard staggered but quickly recovered, spinning around with a vicious swipe of her claws.

Ghost-Spider ducked just in time, feeling the wind from the near miss. "Not bad!" she shouted, but Frostbite's eyes narrowed, her focus unwavering.

Ghost-Spider activated her ice abilities, sending a wave of freezing mist towards Frostbite. The cold air enveloped the area, creating a slick layer on the rooftop. Frostbite slid but regained her balance, leaping with agility, her claws extended.

Ghost-Spider dashed forward, attempting to grab Frostbite, but the assassin was quicker, vanishing into thin air, her presence almost undetectable.

"Where are you?" Ghost-Spider taunted even though she knew exactly where she was due to her ability to sense heat,

Suddenly, Frostbite reappeared right in front of her, delivering a sharp punch that almost sent Ghost-Spider crashing into the rooftop.

Ghost-Spider countered with a flurry of rapid kicks, each connecting with Frostbite, who skillfully dodged some but still felt the impact. The two danced across the rooftop, each one trying to gain the upper hand.

Ghost-Spider focused, her ice abilities surging as she conjured icicles and hurled them toward Frostbite. The leopard-woman dodged the first few but caught one across her arm, leaving a thin line of blood. She hissed in anger.

"I'll get you for that," Frostbite promised, her eyes glinting with determination.

There was an amused tone in Ghost-Spider's voice as she said, "You'll have to actually hit me first."

With a primal roar, Frostbite charged, her speed blurring as she tackled Ghost-Spider to the ground. They rolled, trading blows, claws slashing through the air. Ghost-Spider managed to get her feet under her, flipping Frostbite off her.

The two stood, Frostbite panting and bloodied, each assessing the other. Ghost-Spider, sensing the moment, turned invisible again, stalking Frostbite from the shadows.

"Come out!" Frostbite shouted, her voice echoing against the buildings, growing frustrated.

But instead of waiting, Frostbite closed her eyes and took a deep breath, focusing her heightened senses. She sniffed the air, ears twitching, catching the subtle sound of Ghost-Spider's breathing and the faint disturbance in the air as she moved.

"There you are!" Frostbite growled, spinning around and swiping at seemingly thin air. Her claws connected, and Ghost-Spider reappeared, a surprised look on her face as she narrowly dodged another lethal swipe.

"Nice trick," Ghost-Spider quipped, firing a web at Frostbite's feet, trying to immobilize her. "But I've got plenty of my own!"

She somersaulted over Frostbite, landing a solid kick to her back. Frostbite stumbled but quickly regained her footing, ripping the webbing from her legs.

"Stand still!" Frostbite demanded, launching herself at Ghost-Spider with claws outstretched.

"Not a chance!" Ghost-Spider shot back, flipping gracefully out of reach. She landed and immediately spun, sending a blast of icy wind towards Frostbite, forcing her to slow down.

As Frostbite closed the gap, Ghost-Spider activated her web-shooters again, firing rapid shots to keep her at bay. "You're really making me work for this, you know?"

Frostbite hissed, narrowing her eyes. "You're just making it more fun."

Ghost-Spider smirked under her mask, darting in and out with her spider agility, landing quick, precise hits. "I aim to please."

Frostbite's patience wore thin. With a sudden burst of speed, she lunged, her claws grazing Ghost-Spider's arm, drawing blood. Ghost-Spider winced but didn't slow down, using her momentum to flip over Frostbite and deliver a powerful icy punch to her side.

Frostbite growled in pain, but her eyes never lost their focus. She turned, her movements a blur, and caught Ghost-Spider by surprise, landing a brutal kick that sent her sprawling.

Ghost-Spider quickly rolled to her feet, shaking off the pain. "You've got some moves, I'll give you that."

"And you're more annoying than I thought," Frostbite retorted, her breath coming in heavy bursts.

"Guess we're even then," Ghost-Spider replied, her tone light despite the tension.

They clashed again, a blur of claws, fists, and ice, each refusing to back down. Frostbite's heightened senses allowed her to track Ghost-Spider even when invisible, but Ghost-Spider's agility and quick thinking kept her one step ahead.

Ghost-Spider summoned all her strength, launching herself high into the air. She came down with a powerful, icy punch aimed directly at Frostbite. Frostbite braced herself, but the impact sent shockwaves through the rooftop, cracking the concrete.

Due to Frostbite's resilience towards the cold, the ice barely affected her, but the same couldn't be said about Ghost-Spider's strength.

The force of the blow was enough to break through the roof, sending Frostbite crashing into the building below. Debris and dust filled the air as she landed hard, rolling to a stop amidst the wreckage.

Ghost-Spider dropped down through the hole, landing nimbly on her feet. "That's got to hurt," she quipped, brushing off some dust.

Frostbite growled, shaking off the disorientation as she stood up, her eyes locked onto Ghost-Spider. "You're going to regret that."

"Promises, promises," Ghost-Spider shot back, quickly darting forward to press her advantage. She aimed a flurry of punches and kicks at Frostbite, each blow precise and powerful.

Frostbite dodged and blocked, her assassin training kicking in as she countered with swift, lethal strikes of her own. Her claws sliced through the air, barely missing Ghost-Spider's agile form.

Ghost-Spider flipped backwards, firing a web to pull a large piece of debris down towards Frostbite. Frostbite slashed through it with ease, but the distraction allowed Ghost-Spider to close the distance again.

With a swift motion, Ghost-Spider aimed another icy punch at Frostbite's midsection. Frostbite grunted, feeling the impact but quickly retaliated with a fierce kick that sent Ghost-Spider skidding across the floor.

Ghost-Spider rolled to her feet, wiping a trickle of blood from her mouth with her tongue. "Not bad, but I'm just getting started."

She turned invisible again, using the cluttered interior to her advantage. Frostbite's ears twitched, tracking Ghost-Spider's movements by sound and scent. She swung her claws in a wide arc, nearly catching Ghost-Spider as she darted past.

Ghost-Spider reappeared behind Frostbite, delivering a powerful kick to her back. Frostbite stumbled but spun around with a snarl, her claws slashing through Ghost-Spider's suit, although it didn't draw blood due to her suit resistance.

Ghost-Spider hissed in pain but didn't let it slow her down. She launched herself at Frostbite, grappling with her and using her ice abilities to freeze the floor beneath them. Frostbite's footing slipped, giving Ghost-Spider the opening she needed.

With a swift, powerful move, Ghost-Spider flipped Frostbite over her shoulder, slamming her into the ground. Frostbite's breath left her in a rush, but she wasn't done yet. She grabbed Ghost-Spider's arm, pulling her down and rolling on top of her.

The two wrestled, each trying to gain the upper hand. Frostbite's claws raked across Ghost-Spider's back, while Ghost-Spider's icy blasts kept Frostbite off balance. The struggle was intense, both fighters pushing themselves to their limits.

In a final burst of strength, Ghost-Spider managed to break free, kicking Frostbite away and quickly getting to her feet. Panting and bloodied, she faced Frostbite, who was equally battered but just as determined.

"This ends now," Ghost-Spider declared, her eyes blazing with resolve.

Frostbite smirked, blood dripping from her lip. "Agreed."

With a roar, they charged at each other one last time, each knowing that in this high-stakes battle, only one would emerge victorious.

The two fought like trained fighters, blocking and parrying each other's strikes. Frostbite sent her claws forward, ready to stab Ghost-Spider.

But Ghost-Spider simply leaned to the side, grabbed Frostbite's arm, and pulled her off balance. She blocked Frostbite's other arm and headbutted her hard enough to break her nose and leave her dazed.

Ghost-Spider got into a stance with two fingers on each hand and began hitting most of Frostbite's acupoints.

Frostbite froze before dropping to the ground. She was unable to move or open her mouth, but her eyes blinked helplessly.

Ghost-Spider smiled widely, "Oh I'm going to have so much interrogating you"
