Kapitel 52: Nostalgia

"Hi! How was your trip?" Irene animatedly asks, smiling directly at Jerrick who is wearing a surprised expression on his handsome face.

First of all, he is surprised because Irene seemed to be very happy and is in a good disposition considering that it has not been so long ago since the incident happened.

Also, Jerrick thought that Irene's make-up artist deserves a raise for concealing some of the wound marks left on her face. 

As the boss, no matter how much Jerrick persuaded Irene to just take a rest for the time being to give  her physical and emotional wounds to heal, Irene did not bulge because she already wants to go back and work.

Jerrick concealed the shocked look on his face by smiling widely, "It was so great. I met a lot of important people in the entertainment industry abroad. Aside from that, I met some of the CEOs of the biggest international broadcast companies." He narrated, the coffee shop staff is still waiting for his order.
