Kapitel 144: Chapter 140: Teka Todoroki, The Lava Demon Of Earth And Sky.

I made a mistake in the previous section. In the previous section, I mentioned the time as morning. I fixed this. The time is night.

--------------------------------

A while ago, before the column of lava rose into the sky...

Gazing at the Nomu tower ahead and the stone orb atop the Nomu, Hood, and Giganto laughed and sighed in relief.

Well, the battle had not been easy for them. In order, one's arm was ripped off by Teka, and his strong body was thrown around as a toy tossed aside by a child. The other was intimidated by Teka and nearly killed him.

Now that the Tigress had fallen, they could say and do whatever they wanted as winners.

They had sacrificed a lot of Nom for her. It would probably take a long time to heal the wounds of this sacrifice, and they had experienced a noticeable decrease in their strength. But it was worth it for the fall of such a powerful enemy.

Of course, Teka had not completely fallen. Loud explosions continued to come from within the stone sphere, with more and more Nomu entering the stone sphere every second. With each passing moment, large cracks appeared in the stone sphere and large stones were falling. The villain instantly fixed the stone orb with their Quirks.

However, the two weren't that worried. As long as Teka's greatest and most unsettling power was sealed, it was not a threat to them. If she got out of the orb, all they had to do was sacrifice some more Nom to lock her up.

They might not have the strength to do this forever. As said before, they had brought only a few hundred Nomu. But they had enough Nomu to control her once again.

"Tigress is under control, Master." Giganto was holding his arm while speaking to the sky.

''Very well. Keep watching her. I will prepare to finish her."

Giganto and Hood nodded. A sadistic smile hung on their faces. They had full faith in A.F.O, they thought Teka couldn't do anything against him since he had taken action himself.

To them, A.F.O was a god, and when their god took action, a simple tigress could do nothing against him.

"With that... it's done-done... The Tigress... has it under... control... Khehehe..." Hood started to laugh crookedly. The fear Teka had over him was too great, and he didn't like it. When he saw her being subjugated, he laughed maniacally to shake off his frustration.

Hood had always been the one to bring the shadow of death to his enemies. He was always the one who frightened his enemies and made them taste pain. And he was the one who mocked and humiliated them.

For the first time, he was frightened by a person and forced to feel the cold of death. He hadn't felt that way even in A.F.O, and it got on his nerves. He was laughing away the fear and the shadow of death that had settled in his heart.

"She could be one of us." In contrast, Giganto, watching the stone orb above the Nomu, was thinking of something different.

He was loyal to A.F.O, and he thought of his well-being in every move and acted for him. Despite losing his arm, he longed for Teka to become a Nomu like one of them.

Her strength and Quirk would be kneaded, cut, and sewn into a work of art by the deft hands of A.F.O. She would become superior beings like them and submit to A.F.O.

And she would be A.F.O's power. That's what Giganto wanted, too.

"Yes... like us... will kneel... be like us..."

"Yes, it will be like us."

A.F.O's voice was heard once again as two obsessed Nomu celebrated their owners' achievement of a mighty Nomu.

"I'm starting to get ready. Be wary of people who might interrupt this situation. I don't want a prince charming to save the tigress interrupting my affairs."

''Yes, maste-''

''Prince Charming? Heh, you're exaggerating yourself. I don't need Prince Charming to save me..."

Have you ever felt that words have warmth? Speaking to A.F.O, the two Nomu could feel the heat wave coming from the voice that interrupted their words. The duo looked in the direction of the heatwave, at the stone orb.

CRACK!

A strong cracking sound was heard. A visible, large and wide crack appeared on the surface of the stone sphere, formed by the combination of stone fragments of various sizes. The inside of the crack glowed a red-yellow color, the air around the crack rippled from the extreme heat.

CRACK! CRACK!

The crack grew before his eyes. It shone a red-yellow color now, not just in the cracks, but in the stone sphere. Some pieces of stone were beginning to melt and turn into hot mud.

"We have to stop-" Giganto awoke to his surprise and tried to tell Hood they needed to act, but they were too late.

The sleeping giant had awakened.

CRACK! BANG! VHUMMMMM!!

The sphere was broken in half with a perfect cut. A red-yellow streak emerged from the cuts and spread out along with the shockwave.

SWASH! SWASH! SWASH!

The red-yellow shock wave hit the buildings. But it didn't stop there. It melted every area it touched and forcibly split the building in two. It only took a second for the areas it passed through to turn into black iron mud.

VHUMMMMM!!

The shock wave split most buildings in the city in two. It stopped after dividing dozens, hundreds of buildings, but did not disappear.

"I am enough for you and the rest of you." The voice stopped for a moment. It was coming from far behind, and each word carried a burning warmth. It was as if the person was speaking from the inside of hell.

"Ascend!"

With the order, the red-yellow thin strip of lava stirred. Yes, it wasn't a shock wave, it was an extremely thin strip of lava.

Giganto, Hood, and the villain were watching the sky. Due to the shock of what had happened, they did not even try to stop the changing events.

How could they stop this thing?

As they just stood there, the lava strip grew stronger and suddenly rose into the sky. The red-yellow stripe that wrapped around the top of the villain and the city like a thin membrane gave way to a huge column of lava that stretched into the sky.

The city had many tall buildings and a few skyscrapers. Although the 30, 40, and 60-Storey buildings were abandoned and destroyed by the various Quirks or attacked by the Nomu, they were not badly damaged. However, it took a second for the Lava column to burn these buildings from the molten line to steam.

The Pillar of Lava rose into the sky and made a huge hole in the dark clouds. The city, which was illuminated with various bright lights due to the hot lava, regained the sky adorned with the moon and stars. A large hole appeared in the dark clouds, and with each passing second, more and more dark clouds were disappearing from the lava column.

The temperature of the lava column was even hotter than the atomic bomb. But strangely, nothing was damaged except buildings and clouds. The people below were sweating nonstop from the extreme heat, the skins of the two Nomu closest to the Lava Pillar were just burning.

It showed the absolute control over the power of the person who created this Lava column. If she didn't control her power, they would have turned to dust with the whole city.

But even her absolute control had its limits. While the cities closest to the lava column passed a hundred degrees Celsius, those farther away had long passed the record temperatures they had ever seen, and the temperature continued to rise.

"Just suppressing my Quirk isn't an obstacle for me to use it." A black silhouette appeared on the lava column. With her voice, the lava column vanished in an instant, leaving behind the enchantingly beautiful Teka. Her hair had once again regained its lava state, but this time there was a big change in her vision.

Her hair, which had turned very yellow from the heat of the lava, spilled over her shoulders and touched the floor. The ground Teka stepped on had a red-yellow lava-like structure. Teka had no trouble stepping on it or sinking.

Every piece of meat exposed between her clothes had turned into liquid lava. Her lava skin, dominated by yellow, red, and orange, was moving, and particles were walking through her skin, like a lava surface.

Teka stepped forward and looked down on the two Nomu. Her cold gaze wandered over them. She put her finger on her thin chin, contemplating what to do with them.

Grap*

Just then, something gripped her leg. With her face forward, her pupils moved and she cast a sideways glance at the thing gripping her leg.

"Grhhhh.." A Nomu grabbed her leg with a small grunt. He was trying to reach her by holding on to the stone orb, only the outer part of which was intact, but judging from the tracks he left behind, it could be seen that the stones he was holding on to while coming were shattered and a large amount of lava was poured on him. Half of his body was left after the extremely hot lava bath.

"..." Teka didn't say anything. She ignored Nomu's grip on her leg and looked down over his shoulder.

More Nomu was trying to get up and reach for her. Like insects drawn to the light, they were thrown into Teka to carry out their orders, even though they knew they would die.

Teka didn't say anything. As her icy gaze watched the Nomus, a wave of heat shot through her hair and headed down.

Vosh!

Grasping her leg, Nomu was steamed by the heatwave. The heatwave traveled all the way and didn't stop until it reached the crater floor. She went over all the Nomus. All the Nomus in the area it passed through were burned, leaving no dust behind.

"You look cuter like that." One corner of Teka's lip curled up. She stepped forward. With her movements, her lava skin was also moving. The air around her body was fluctuating due to the extreme heat, even oxygen was burning.

Teka walked over to the lava stone and stood on the edge of the stone so she could see the two. Her lava skin glowed under the dark sky, illuminating the city like a lantern.

"It's your turn, you two." Teka raised her hand without waiting for the two of them to respond. She couldn't wait to finish off these two, especially Hood.

As said before, unlike living humans, she had no problem killing Nomu.

She raised her hand. Her lava skin acquired a yellow hue. The ground beneath her couldn't take it any longer and began to melt and warp, but she didn't care. Her hair moved, and she tossed her hair.

Blob! Blob! Blosh!

Boiling sounds were coming from her hair, and lava was erupting in between. Her hair suddenly moved and turned into a giant hand. A massive lava hand sank into the two of them.

''Run!''

"İİAHHHAAAAA!!!" Hood took off his wings, activating his shoulder-mounted jets. He grabbed Giganto's shoulders and flapped his wings.

Surprisingly, he was able to lift Giganto. He started his shoulder-mounted jets and increased his speed.

Tss!!

He could feel his back burning, his skin scorching. His bestial instincts told him to run faster. The temperature had become suffocating, and even the fluids inside his body were burning.

PLAH!

He spread his wings wide and fluttered. He advanced tens of meters in an instant, his back jets were working to the end, increasing his speed. Just as the lava hand was about to hit them, he managed to escape.

PAHH!!

The hand from the lava hit the floor. Like an erupting volcano, it covered the entire floor and rose above the crater. In just a few seconds, the crater had turned into a lava pool.

Teka was watching them with her hands folded under her breasts, her brows furrowed. She tilted her head to the side, her hair swaying, and it snapped back from the lava pool.

Teka stepped forward. She stepped on the lava floor. It did not collapse or fall in as expected. She was walking through the lava pool, step by step, as if she were walking on normal ground.

Two Nomu escaping Teka landed on the rim of the crater. They turned around and looked at Teka.

The two bright eyes of the woman walking in the lava pool were visible in the lava face that merged with the environment. The moon hung above her head in the sky, and the murderous intent in her bright blue eyes were as bright and clear as the moon's light.

"Those with Ice and Water Quirks, step forward and attack. Those with Earth Quirk keep her away from the lava and respond to her attacks. Those with rough skin will come with me and we will attack." Giganto instantly took the lead and began giving orders.

The startled villains shook their heads with shaky expressions. From the moment they became hostile to Teka, their fate had been sealed, and now they realized that if they left this woman alive, they would die.

They did as Giganto said. Possessed of ice, water, or cold gas, the Quirks stepped forward and attacked. Water and ice were gushing from their hands, spitting from their mouths, or attacking Teka with cold rays coming out of their eyes.

Teka casually waved her left hand without looking at them. Synchronized with the movement of her hand, the lava wave splashed to the left and countered the incoming attacks.

"The lava... floor… ATTACK." The hood flapped his wings and took off. Needle-like pieces were coming out of his body and throwing them at Teka.

Teka stopped her steps. She lifted her head and looked at the Hood flying through the black night. Feeling her gaze on him, Hood forgot for a moment to even flap his wings. He was almost falling.

Teka raised her hand so she and the villains could see it, and pointed it openly at the Hood.

"ATTACK... ATTACK... MORE... MORE..." It didn't take long for Hood to realize that a massive attack was coming. He used his muscle-building Quirk and strengthened his body. He used his Transforming Weapons Quirk and created extra wings for himself. He then powered up his wings using the Power Quirk and used most of the power from the Storage Quirk, turning around and flapping his wings.

He wasn't running away, but he was doing his best to dodge this attack. Teka exuded an air that frightened even them from the beginning. Just her gaze was enough to trigger his instincts and make him scream to run.

The villain has increased their attack. They were doing their best to strain their bodies. The villains who could strengthen their bodies had gone to Giganto's side and were preparing to attack.

SWOSH!

But at a speed no one expected, two lava hands rose from the lava pool and captured the Hood. The arms stretched for meters and extended beyond a few meters where they widened. Even a single finger was twice the Hood.

How could Teka let him escape? In the main timeline, Hood humiliated his son, stepped on him, and nearly killed him. If she let such a person go, there would be no Teka.

Two lava hands gripped the Hood and began squeezing it to death.

GIYAH!! YHAAAAAAHH!! AHHH!!

Painful cries echoed through the dark city. Hood began to be crushed by two big hands, but that was the least of Hood's pains. It was being cooked alive by the scorching heat.

The phrase "burn while alive" was nothing compared to that. His skin was instantly turned to ash, his flesh, muscles, and bones were cooking, and he could smell a burning smell rising from his body.

Tssss!!

The grip of the hands that gripped the Hood increased. Adding to the burning is the pain of being crushed until it turns into mashed meat. Several of his bones were broken, and the broken bones pierced his flesh, creating an opening through which lava could enter.

TSAHHH!!

The hot lava sank into his skin and began to burn with a raspy voice. The temperature of the lava was many times higher than normal lava. So much so that Hood's eyes watered involuntarily and he grits his teeth in pain.

If someone didn't intervene, he would die here.

VHOSHHH!!

As Hood's death became clear moment by moment, Hood's savior arrived.

A great cold ray from the sky streamed into Teka. The cold ray froze the water particles where it passed, causing them to fall to the ground and shatter.

Teka stopped her steps, tilted her head to the side, and looked at the incoming ray. She sighed. Lava gave strength to the hands for the last time.

CRACKLE! TSSSAHHHH!!

There was a loud cracking and burning sound. However, Teka showed no further interest in it. She threw the Hood somewhere at random, then pulled her hands in front of her and met the ice ray.

TSSSSS!!

As the ice beam met the hot lava, a raspy sound emerged. The vapors formed from the encounter of Ice and Lava could not even appear as they vanished between the two oppositely cold/hot substances to the extreme.

However, this did not apply to the lava below. The lava was constantly being eroded by the villain and ice ray. The lava was freezing, turning into black stones, creating a warm floor to step on.

"I don't know how you got rid of the Quirk Lock. But this will not change your destiny, Teka Todoroki. At such a disadvantage, it is your destiny to lose and surrender to me as one of my Nomus." During their little battle, A.F.O's stinging voice was heard. Despite all the destruction Teka had created, he had great confidence and that nasty tone of fun.

"Heh... Quirk Lock? Not enough to suppress my Quirk." Teka's lip curled up and she spoke with a sense of amusement. She could see the villains who could fortify their bodies and skins running towards her on the frozen ground with Giganto, yet she kept talking to A.F.O.

"Submitting to you and becoming one of your hideous creatures? Don't talk nonsense! I…" Teka spread her hands to her sides. As she shouted her next words, she faced the moon and the stars, the whole city, and the enemies.

"I, Teka Todoroki, have never bowed to anyone in my life, and I never will. If you want to make me one of them, you have to come and get me, because even if I lose this battle, I will not fall into your hands."

Her stern and charming voice grew stronger. Her voice was not loud but resounded throughout the city. In the middle of her speech, a powerful aura emerged and covered the entire city center.

''So be it. I'll have to assess the remains of your body." A.F.O's voice lost its playful tone and took on an eerie seriousness. His voice carried an unconscious pressure and seriousness behind it. He had cast aside any thoughts of leaving Teka alive.

''Come. Do you want to take a piece of me? Then be prepared to lose big meat." Teka waved her hand randomly in the middle of her speech.

Slap!

Attacking her from behind, Giganto flew back with her hit. Half of his face disintegrated, and the part where Teka had struck her hand collapsed into it. His pupils twitched, and he nearly lost consciousness.

Teka turned around. She looked at the massive villains running towards her. Some were several times her height, some made her look very small in width. Still, she started walking toward them with a careless attitude.

Her lava skin glowed with a yellow light. The pupils disappeared, replaced by a pure white color. Teka spread her hands to the sides and clasped her hands forward, hitting each other.--

SPLASH!

The frozen ground broke into pieces. At Teka's command, two huge lava waves rushed towards the villains in the middle from both sides and engulfed them before they even knew what was happening.

AHHH!! HYAAAHHHHH!! HOT!!

Painful screams were heard, and the sound of burning flesh echoed. The villain burned alive, but they didn't die. Teka had no intention of killing them.

She knew what she was doing was a stupid move. Taking pity on the villain was the dumbest thing she could do.

But she couldn't kill them. Most people in her life cared about human life and feared that if one day they found out that she had killed this villain, they would hate her. Fuyumi, Nejire, Rumi, Nemuri, Momo, Eri, Rei, and Yoshino, she didn't want any of them to hate her.

Yes, in this case, she even paid attention to her husband's choices and did not kill people so that they would not be disgusted or angry with her.

Teka was such a fool. But that stupidity was another reason Blake liked her.

VHOSHH!!

While Teka was pushing the villain out of battle, another ray of ice rushed to Teka. Also, devoid of Teka's support, the lava arms were frozen and shattered by the ice ray after a long battle. Two ice rays were approaching Teka from different points.

Teka waved her hand. Suffering in waves of lava, the villain spat out. Their skin had turned black, their faces and bodies were unrecognizable, and their limbs were unusably burned. After this moment, they could not join the battle again.

Teka turned around. The rays were coming from two different points, and she raised her hands to meet the two and aligned them towards the rays.

But at that moment, something unexpected happened. The two ice rays suddenly met in the middle and slammed into her chest at a speed that she could not react to.

BANG! Criling!

Hit by an ice ray, Teka was torn from the lava pool and sent back. In her chest where the ice ray hit, the lava part froze and turned into a blue-black stone. Teka's face wrinkled in pain.

BANGGGG!!

At the end of the Teka flight, she crashed into a building with only the bottom half of it. Its top half had been turned to dust by her, and all that remained of the top half were burnt rooms and hot metal deposits that set the building ablaze.

The area where the Teka crashed migrated into it, the dent being huge compared to the person who crashed it. The building trembled from the ground up, showing signs of collapse.

CRILING!

The ice ray continued to hit Teka's chest, her body turning into more solid stone with each passing moment. Teka raised her hand, aligning her lava hand with the beam.

Criling!

The ice ray hit her hand, but unlike the previous time, her hand did not freeze or harden. The temperature was rising as her hand became more and more covered in yellow. The building Teka was standing on tilted to one side, starting from where Teka was standing, it was melting and turning into liquid.

The atmosphere was so hot that even the ice ray was getting thinner and losing its coldness.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The frozen lava stones on Teka's body began to crack and fall off. Teka threw back her left hand and leaned against the building. She lifted herself. Then she rubbed her hand first on her chest, then on her left shoulder, and cleared the pieces of stone that remained on her.

"Attack!!!" Dozens of bodies suddenly appeared in front of Teka. They were jumping towards her, running or attacking from behind. Her surroundings, which had been empty a few seconds before, were suddenly filled with people.

Teka watched what was going on. Her hair was swaying wildly. It moved left and right, spun around, and crashed into the ground.

The floor was covered with liquid lava. The earth was melting, and even the hardest stones could not stand for a second against the lava. More lava was pouring from her hair onto the ground. Teka's ten-meter diameter circumference was suddenly covered with lava.

The floor of the building behind her melted completely. The building bent over Teka and the villains and began to fall. However, neither side cared.

Blob! Vosh! Vosh!

The ten-meter lava field was gradually expanding. The lava was spinning clockwise and forming a vortex. Now and then, several huge lava waves would appear.

Some of the villains stopped where they were and started running back. When Teka hit the wall, they thought they had caught an opening and should seize the opportunity.

However, they were very wrong.

Blob! SPLOSH!

A wave of tens of meters rose behind Teka. The size of the lava wave exceeded even the building. People's vision was blurred due to the extremely hot lava, making it difficult to look at the hot glow of the lava.

A few villains trying to escape landed on their butts. Their teeth chattered wildly, their trembling pupils staring at Teka and the huge wave behind her. One of them pointed at her with a trembling index finger and spoke in a timid tone.

"A-Are you still human?"

Teka turned her gaze to him as if she had heard that. The villain closed their eyes, worried that they would be attacked.

"Maybe I am, maybe I am not."

Splosh!!!

At this word, their eyes widened. They intended to look at Teka, but what greeted them was the massive wave crashing into the lava pool and erupting like a volcano.

KABBOOOOOOMMMM!!

The lava pool erupted like a volcano. A huge amount of lava rose from the lava pool, which was ten meters in radius, and engulfed the villain. Lava rose into the sky. Lava rising from the city center illuminated the city like a yellow-red-orange lantern.

Lava splashed around and splashed onto buildings, streets, and parks. It took a moment for the lava to burst into flames. The dark city was lit with flames under the moon and starry sky.

Huge lava continued to rise from the city center. The raging waves of lava appeared for a moment, and the other lava merged with them and disappeared.

The lava that covered the city center suddenly increased. The lava spreading in waves did not go outside the city center and continued to increase. The level of the lava had exceeded the buildings in the city center. Most of the buildings in the city center were submerged by lava.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

A few shadowy figures jumped through the lava. These were the villain and the muscular Several shadowy figures jumped out of the lava. These were the villains and the muscular villains who carried them, and Giganto. They survived and did not suffer excessive casualties because of Teka's decision not to kill them.

There was only one thing missing, and that was the Hood. Giganto and the others did not know where he was. He was thrown to an unknown place after being crushed to death by Teka.

The villain stood up as they supported each other. They looked around. How did they get to this situation? Was Teka still human? How could he change the ground they stood on so drastically?

Just thirty minutes ago, they were fighting inside a crater. And now there was a huge sea of lava at the site of the crater and the city center.

Was Teka still human? They didn't think that anyone who could change the environment so drastically was human.

Blob! Blob! Splosh!

Amid his fear-fueling thoughts, the surface of the lava in their distance split in two. Slowly but surely, a beautiful figure rose above the lava. Teka, whose skin had turned into lava, appeared.

She looked pretty good. Her lava hair reached the ground and disappeared into the sea of lava. The entire sea of lava seemed to be made of her hair. Because of her beautiful orange-red-yellow and lava complexion with many different colors, they could not touch her or they would be burned. This gave her an unapproachable air. Most importantly, in her current state and environment, she looked like a demon out of hell.

Their thoughts were correct. When Teka unleashed so much power in the warrior tribe she came from and later on, she earned a nickname. The nickname depicted her personality in battle, expressing the sheer fear of her enemies whenever Teka unleashed so much power.

She was Teka Todoroki, the Lava Demon of Earth and Sky.

**

Giii~~YAHHHHH

Lava poured from the burning city buildings, dripping onto the streets and melting the ground. If no one intervened soon, the entire city would be burned to ashes from the lava and nothing would be left of the city.

A black figure was passing through the side streets among the fires. Some of the side streets were illuminated by car headlights. It projected the shadow of the black figure on the wall and made the few stray animals that were left in fear and ran away.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

Puddles in the street splashed with the figure's steps. Painful groans came from the mouth of the person or thing and echoed through the alleys.

SPLASH!

After running for a while, the black figure couldn't take it anymore and fell to the ground. His body dragged on the ground for a while. He was covered in muddy water and his face was in the muddy water.

"I will… kill her… I will… kill her…" The creature with a strange body structure was whispering a few words while its face was submerged in the water. The strange creature's skin was completely burned, its flesh and muscles were exposed, and even the majority of it was burned and turned to ashes. Some parts of his body had lava, and this lava spilled onto the ground, creating steam with the sound of "Tss~~".

The headlight of the car at the end of the alley turned on and reflected the shadow of the creature trying to get up from the ground on the wall. The strange creature was trying to stand up, his arms on the ground, but he couldn't gather strength in his arms, so he fell to the ground.

"Teka… I will kill… for doing this… I will kill…." Yes, it was the Hood that Teka had thrown aside at random. He somehow managed to escape, survived and plotted revenge.

The muscles in his body tensed. Some muscle fragments fell to the ground and were replaced by new ones. His burnt arm turned to ash as he touched the ground, the muscles in his wrist began to twist hideously, and his arm grew back.

The headlight of the car came on again and projected this disgusting image onto the wall.

"First I'll get well... then... I'll secretly kill her. No, no, no... I won't kill her... I'll eat her alive." Healing himself in the alley, Hood was plotting hideous plans. He wasn't going to let Teka go after doing such things to him.

He had always been the one whose heroes were humiliated. He would humiliate them, mark his victory over them, and give them the worst humiliation before killing them. It was the first time he had faced such a loss.

It would be fair to call Hood's personality a spoiled child. He didn't respect anyone but his father, A.F.O. He insulted other people he saw as his rivals so that his father could praise him. He always competed with the other Nomu, his brothers, and tried to do the best on A.F.O's orders.

As their creator, A.F.O was aware of their mindset but did not try to fix it. He saw every Nomu and villain as a pawn or tool, capable of sacrificing their cause. According to him, every pawn except Tomura should die for them if necessary.

The reason why some Nomu did not correct this mindset was that they worked more efficiently like this. So he left them as they were, giving them a few compliments when the time came. After all, words of praise were free.

"I will . . . honor my father." Hood grit his teeth. His erect yellow pupils narrowed with dangerous emotion. He put his hands on the ground and tried to get up. One by one, the muscles in his back were torn, swirling around like crazy snakes, then merging into his body, getting better.

This was one of his Quirks. It was a regeneration Quirk that allowed him to revert even if only his head remained.

"By shedding her blood... I will honor my father."

The car headlight lighted up. It projected Hood's stance on the wall in the form of a huge shadow. He hunchbacked, gripping the ground with all fours. He looked like a wild animal licking his wounds.

"I will kill… Teka Todoroki."

The car headlight lighted up. Hood's posture was once again reflected on the wall. This time, however, there was someone with him. With his hands in his pockets, he was silently watching her. He appeared in an instant, not even Hood realizing he was coming.

"I'm going to eat... I'm going to eat it... then I'll present the remaining pieces to Dad."

The car headlight lighted up. Hood's stance was once again reflected on the wall. But this time, someone was with him. He was watching him silently with his hands in his pockets. He had appeared out of nowhere, even Hood hadn't noticed.

"I'll eat her... I'll eat her... then I'll present the remaining pieces to the father."

The car headlight lighted up. Hood continued to speak in a shrill voice. His raspy cries echoed in the alley. Healing was very painful for him.

The car headlight worked down and lighted up once again. There was no change in Hood's stance. However, the person next to him raised his hand, reaching for his head. Hood continued to utter crazy words without noticing anything.

"I just need to get heal... just-"

The car headlight lighted up. The hand touched his head. Hood finally noticed the person, turned his head to the side, and looked at him. He opened his mouth, maybe he wanted to say something, maybe he was going to give an animal scream...

CRACK! SPLASH!

This would never be known. Hood's head exploded. Blood splattered around, and a piece of meat and blood hit the head of the car. Light- No, The bloody light illuminated the person. The person waved his hand, and the scarlet flowers bloomed and splashed against the wall and floor.

The person silently looked to where the Hood had come from. He stepped forward, the sound of footsteps echoing in the alley. He left Hood's body behind and walked step by step to where Teka was fighting.
