Kapitel 65: Dinner (2)

Aerine realized then that she really wasn't afraid of Lucian anymore, or at least she wasn't as easily intimidated by him anymore. She had adapted to his presence, or it could be said that Lucian also helped a lot by easing her emotions whenever she was with him. 

After hearing him, Aerine couldn't refute him anymore. Since the staff were all his subordinates and part of their world, she didn't have any right to say anything further than that. 

It was settled, then. They also arrived at the place prepared for them. It was a huge table that could fit all of them. Lucian sat in the head seat, although he didn't forget to help Aerine sit on the chair on his right side. 

Mils, who was rather reluctant, still sat in the end under Elise's intimidating gaze. She sat beside Aerine, and the twins were opposite them. As Aerine thought that Elise would sit at the chair on Lucian's left side, she didn't. But instead, she sits beside the uncomfortable Mils.
