"Ouch!" Makoto grunted in pain when she felt something.
'What's wrong?' she heard her twin sister ask from the Plane of Euthhymia.
"I feel ahg!" something inside Makoto twitched, but she was a smart woman.
The sharp pain that didn't seem to belong to any part of her body was the same symptom Kenshin had warned her of.
The moment Kenshin used all the energy inside his Plane to extinguish the Forbidden Knowledge and the tree shone brightly, the little orb representing the child was stimulated, making the soul of the child inside Makoto's body absorb some.
Thing only this soul could do, due to the deep connection she had with Kenshin's Plane.
And receiving this energy, the soul finally matured, and was ready to start her own journey in this world called Teyvat.
"This child is coming" muttered Makoto, feeling another pang of pain that went almost unnoticed under the weight of the realization.
'What?!' Makoto could feel Ei's alarm and surprise. 'It's too soon!'
"Why are you telling that to me?" Makoto sometimes wanted to punch her sister, but now there were other priorities. "Sara!"
"Yes!" Sara, who was always ready to her the former Archon in anything she could need these days, quickly approached.
"The ball...." Makoto said between groans of pain.
"....Y-Yes!" Sara overcame her initial stupor and quickly left, coming after half a minute. "Please...work...."
And it did.
The child was born peacefully, without the slightest damage and perfectly healthy.
A girl with intense purple eyes looked with curiosity at the new world she found herself around, focusing on the faces of those beings around her.
And.... something else inside them.
This was the day Elea came to the world of Teyvat.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"KENSHIN!!" Yae screamed in desperation, seeing the limp body of the person she decided to share her life with, fall to the ground. "PLEASE!!"
But Kenshin was already not there.
A soul couldn't exist without a vessel, be it a seal or a body, and Kenshin had none of those.
His Plane was safe, but he couldn't exist without a body, when he entered the Plane, he did it with his body so there was no chance for him to keep his life.
Had he returned to the Plane, the black mist of Forbidden Knowledge would have come with him inside again, and he couldn't allow that.
"Please...." Yae bitterly cried, his mind refusing to accept what his brain already understood. "Please....come back....."
But the world was not that easy.
The body that belonged to Yae's most loved person, the son of 2 humble people, and the one who only wanted to help people having fun in the way, gradually disappeared under the black mist.
Rex Lapis, who wouldn't allow himself to cry until everything was resolved, made a shield that would not allow such a harmful existence to keep spreading.
And yet, his insides were torn.
He thought that life was finally turning around, he got Guizhong back, his family had grown, the Harbor was finally advancing without his help and Azdaha got his sanity back.
And this was the moment life decided to hit him again with a demolishing strike.
"....." the wind trembled in sadness when Barbatos, who felt the baleful mist appear again in this world, looked at Yae's devastated state he didn't need to be told what happened.
"sob....please....sob" Yae fell to the ground, as there was no other option but to admit it.
Kenshin was dead.
Xiao looked with a grim face at the cruel fate reserved to the one who freed him from his curse, but he felt something else happening.
"Be careful!" he shouted when 'something' appeared inside Rex Lapis' barrier.
Yae looked hopefully, hoping to see anything that would imply that Kenshin had a chance. Maybe his soul stayed in this world, this way they could use another of Albedo's orb to craft a new body.
But again, this world didn't move for Kenshin, he was merely a fleeting existence that appeared in it for a brief moment he called his life.
After a being died, his body turned into a 'something' from the 'someone' it was.
And after that.....the soul would disappear into the Being.
"NO!" Yae realized this and knew the moment Kenshin's soul was sucked into those portals was the moment Kenshin would be gone for good with absolutely no other options to come back. "STOP IT!! WE CAN SAVE HIM!!!"
But Xiao, Barbatos and Rex Lapis couldn't do anything but look at the portal that would take away the last remaining part of their departed friend.
Kenshin saw a boar die, and small portals appeared around the dead body that sucked away the small soul.
When Albedo made a butterfly using the Art of Khemia, the portals were so small he needed to ask Albedo to make a bigger animal for him to see what lay beyond those portals.
So....how big would the portal need to be to take away Kenshin's 'inner world'?
A gargantuan portal opened in the sky covering the whole sky above Liyue, Monstadt and a portion of Sumeru, a portal that made absolutely everyone in the world look with shock at it.
Squirrels, cats, dogs, humans, wopperflowers, geovishaps, dragons, youkais, Adeptus, dragons, Archons....
Everything in this world that had a soul felt a shiver passing through their souls as this portal connected with something they felt was the END.
A woman sitting on a frozen throne stood up for the first time in centuries and looked at the portal with a scared face, knowing what lay beyond.
A girl whose mind was breaking down from acting a play for the last 500 years looked at the sky with fear in her beautiful heterochromatic blue eyes.
A trapped girl-looking being with green and white hair used the power of the Akasha terminal to analyse the portal, but a sharp pain in her soul made her unable to continue.
A woman with mostly white hair and 'X' shaped pupils looked in horror at the portal, as if it meant something she didn't want to think about.
A blonde woman who was training with her mother, and getting scolded for being too dutiful to her job and not chasing her loved one felt insignificant in front of the now black sky.
A dragon sipping in water inside his office while preparing for a trial stood up in alarm.
A golden-haired boy with a long braid grimaced looking at the sky, while every single hilichurl kneeled looking at the hole.
A being with diamond-shaped pupils and golden eyes briefly awakened, but she couldn't resist falling asleep again.
The world stopped for a moment and every single living being awaited for the portal to leave, a few seconds that seemed to last forever.
Another shiver made them stand still, as they felt that 'something' had arrived at this world, but no one could see it nor sense it.
'Something' had come out of the portal, its objective unknown to every living being, something that didn't belong to this world.
But there was only one being that screamed against this blatant invasion.
"NO!" Yae screamed knowing that this shiver meant, in one way or another, that Kenshin's soul would leave this world to be dissolved in the existence they had no other choice but to assign a name to, the Being. "KENSHIN!!!"
But the cries of a desperate youkai weren't enough to make the world stop moving.
After 10 seconds, the portal gradually closed, leaving behind a bewildered world that weren't able to understand what happened.
And the portal finally disappeared.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Yae screamed in anguish, knowing that Kenshin had left their side.
Forever.
