Sophia shook her head and held the ring. "I love the ring. You understand me well. If it's an extravagant ring, I may need to remove it each time I need to work."

John nodded. Then he bent to bite Sophia's neck, marking her once more. John licked the neck where he bit it to heal the slight bleeding.
