Kapitel 249: 38.5 Waiting for Sunrise

Looking back at the roof that I was last in, the thatched roofing of the building had exploded into ice and snow as the Nulla made its oh-so-helpful appearance on the rooftops that I took safety in. With the dim lighting provided by the coming dawn, I could clearly see that the damn thing was still drooling subzero saliva. The light on its forehead had dulled to a dark blue, and its winds were weakening judging from the lack of numbness from my limbs as I jumped to the next closest rooftop.

Rolling away from the flying neck lunge, I then quickly got up and resumed the best strategy of running the fvck away from the monster wanting to kill me. I didn't know where Mathilde or Anna was at this time, but I sure hope that they appreciate my selfless act of being the greatest bait to have ever existed so far.
