I really want to like this novel, I really do. But the Author use so much Nationalism that it put me off. There’s some sentences that just doesn’t need that particular “Nationalism” and it just flow weirdly and this is 19th century Europe. Yellow Peril is a thing back then. The story in general is decent enough if you can get past those.
it's a Chinese novel. handle it wherever you wish but it's a Chinese novel.... everything else is good but yeah.
