Kapitel 18: Closure

Lucas sat comfortably in his work chair, he was a man well over his fifties. His suit sat precisely on his body while he watched the news on the expensive looking Smart High-res TV in the room.

The office was very large and spacious and as he sat alone inside, he smiled to himself happy to be all by himself.

He was always either at the office or the various clubs or meetings anything that would keep him away from home. His wife had been giving him hell lately and although he had been apologizing and sending expensive gifts, she kept ignoring him. How he hated that. He wished she would yell or throw something at him, anything, but she had always been annoying introverted and calm.

He placed his leg on the large desk and looked at the high ceiling, marvelling at how far he had come from being a poor orphan some few decades ago.
