The human section was vast and held more numbers. Some with mutation, others without. But many of them have injuries and large scars.
"More than half of them were criminals. But the rest are either deserters from the line of duty to those that offend some major powers but few have exhausted their usefulness in their organization." the attendant explained.
"There are some of them that sold themselves to us for money. Nonetheless, each one of them has been conditioned to obey their master but do not mistreat them as they can rebel!"
The attendant assumed that Zamright was just a young master who was looking for a plaything.
Zamright stood by a cage and observed a large angry man with one eye. He has a large scar on his face and glares at him like a predator. The name of the man and his brief history were before the glass cage.
Zamright walked forward to the man with injury. The attendant immediately explained, "These people's injury is nothing as they will be healed before they leave here. But what matters is their profession and what they can accomplish!"
Zamrighyt passed him too and continued to look around. None of them caught his attention. Even though some of them are super soldiers, some are masters of firearms, some even have legacy techniques with them.
But that was not what Zamright was looking for. He was looking for a Loyal and Obedient Servant. Thinking in that line Zamright perceived something and he looked around.
Guided by intuition he walked around the rows of glass cages until he reached a man. He was middle-aged and large but had seen better days.
He looked weak and frail. His eyes were hollow showing no emotions. Zamright read the brief history and got the gist of it.
The man's name was Van Neem, age 59, and he was one of the successful experiments of the Super Soldier project conducted by Human Supremacy Organizations. He was a loyal soldier who fought many wars and served in many countries but at last, he came to the limit of his body capability and he was retired.
However, his family used the money he gained to maintain his health, sadly they went bankrupt. As someone who lives the life of war he can't sit idle, so he came here to find a buyer. He was here for 3 years but no one wanted him.
"I want him!" Zamright said.
"Mr Rite, can you change to another one? This one potential was gone. In fact, he can only use his superhuman techniques before he dies."
"I want him!" Zamright repeated what he said. Looking at the man. he can see a magnificent glow coming from his body.
This glow was nothing special but the glow of loyalty. Somehow Zamright was able to notice the shade of loyalty from people. It's more like an intuition of finding a brethren. As Zamright spent years serving his master and never unwavering in his activity or even doubting with betrayal, he developed a sight that will show him others like him.
The caged people couldn't listen but as the glass opened they could and Van Neem looked at the attendant. "Sign here and here Mr Neem. The young man here has bought your services. You can provide him with your terms later!"
Van Neem looked at the charming boy and handed him a paper. Zamright read through it before he nodded.
"You have me for the rest of my life Master!" Van Neem said with a now.
Saying that the glow on the man's body shivered and changed. Now it has a blue hue and it soothes Zamright's heart with confidence of finding a true loyal man.
He looked at the others with a loyalty glow but none was like this Neem guy.
"I will call you Scimitar from now on."
"Yes. Master!"
"And don't call me that. Call me Mr Rite!"
"Yes. Mr Rite!"
While they were back in the vehicle Zamright asked, "I still have room under Floating City!"
"Yes. It's permanent until you want to move out." the guard answered.
"Good. I want to go there. And I would like you to bring Mr Neem here his remaining family here to me."
Van Neem was confused that wasn't the plan but then he didn't voice his concern.
"Okay!"
Reaching the small room with one bed and a single toilet, Zamright settled on a reading table and began to write on the book he collected from Shisha.
By the time he finished, there was a knocking. A young frail girl with evident hunger problems came in with her father's permission.
Van Neem's heart was beating wildly, he had no idea what this boy wanted from his daughter but he would break conduct if something was going to happen to her.
The loyalty glow vanished at that time which made Zamright smile but his charm made Neem feel at ease and also the girl's nervousness vanished.
"Mr Neem gave this to your daughter. Ask her to give it to Lady Shisha Lamprey at the Land of Shisha!"
He did as ordered. "He is my new master!" he whispered to her as he urged her to leave. Neem stood by the side and waited before a deep sigh escaped his mouth and his body glowed more than ever. Well, the glow that only Zamright can see.
'Loyalty can change or shift based on one situation!' Zamright took note of that.
[Land Of Shisha]
Shisha read the message at the beginning of the book with a frown
"Lady Shisha, greetings. Hope you are fine. Attached to this book are questions that you need to answer and understand before I can aid you in your land affairs. The reason was that I believe you convinced yourself that you wanted to help the people but the truth was that it was for your gain. There is nothing wrong with that, however, the question was do you have what it takes to be a leader?
I'm not an experienced leader but I'm knowledgeable about that regard. I did see a lot of potential in your land and you but something is lacking in your mindset and how you approach things. What I understood was that you desire to be at the top, to rule, to command and you have good traits for that but what can you offer to the people better than anyone else? I see nothing on your part, that was why the others departed.
Read the book carefully and understand it. That will guide you to an extent but you need to answer this question, what can you truly offer to them that is better than others which will qualify you to be their leader?
Take care of the girl, please!"
"Take the girl to the guest room!" Shisha ordered. She didn't like the message at all, Zamright sounded condescending and arrogant to her. Not to mention he could have come back here but chose to stay at the local room given by Floating City.
However, as she began to read through the book she was engrossed in it. She read it several times until sunrise before resting.
"Who is this boy!" she wondered in amazement. In it were knowledge that she couldn't find anywhere and insights that she never grasped before
