[Main Floating City]
Captain Samu, the patriarch of the Floating City Tribe, was in chains. His face was hideous with anger but there was nothing he could do.
"Will you behave yourself and meet the candidates or what?" An older man said. Captain Samu has no choice but to agree. He needed to assign his candidate too.
They reached a group of 100 candidates and each of the elders will choose one person from them.
It was a large hall, everyone was on a small floating saucer. The 18 elders stood before the 100 scions.
"Our Great Floating Core has finally activated and the next step was for one of us that has the blood of our Ancestor to bind with it." The oldest among them said.
He continued, "Each one of you has a chance to become the Core Bearer. But only 18 of you will have the support of the elders."
"It's not because the rest of you aren't eligible but because we have limited resources and also we don't want to extend the competition."
Saying that the oldest sat down, and the advisor to the Patriarch came and pulled out papers and began to call names.
Sisi Loat stood expectedly, she knew that her father Samu Loat had chosen her. She looked around thinking who would be her rival. There were many she didn't want to clash with but she has no fear as she has the wealth to rival them now.
"Elijah Loat"
"Zeza Loat"
"Brama Loat"
The moment their name was called they only acknowledged it with a nod. But to Sisi's dismay, her name was not called at all. She felt a knot in her throat. All her life she has served the core, from the moment she awakened her True Blessing of Teleportation.
When she discovered the core activation, Captain Samu promised her that she would be the one who would bond with it.
The return of the elders from whatever hole they hid and changed some things but she had expected her father would support her. Besides, she has a blessing, which not everyone has.
She looked down dejected, her eyes became red. She wouldn't have put her heart into it if he had not made that promise to her.
"The eighteen candidates are the representatives of the elders. But the rest of you all have a chance, that is you have to work hard and convince us that you deserve it better!"
After that, they were handed a book containing a comprehensive assignment that they needed. perform to prove themselves worthy. Then they were dismissed.
Lady Sisi teleported directly to her office but met with a man in a black suit. "It seems that your father has lied to us. You aren't even among the candidates."
The huge man was 2.1m tall with a thick beard and eyebrows. He glared at her before he pulled out a circular object.
"We are rebuking the Century Red Authority certificate we made for you," he said before his projection vanished.
Sisi stood there in a trance, the change of things was very fast. She just lost her position and yet these people were already turning their back on her.
Lady Sisi was unlike Lady Shisha who had an inherent desire to rule and a strong will to fight back, so she felt devastated and couldn't even think of what to do now.
Suddenly, she remembered something: the Hidden Room in Marble Angle. What if that also was rebuked? She quickly teleported a long distance which strained her powers and body.

Sisi appeared inside her mother's room before she fainted. Hours later she woke up and found an elderly woman staring at her.
"You came to complain?" Sisi's mother asked, annoyed.
"No. There was a transaction that I made with a VIP. One was already rebuked but I fear that Marble Angle will rebuke their own too. I don't want to be humiliated that way!"
"Oh, they have already done that. They cancelled every contract and arrangement you made!"
It was like a blow to her ego. Sisi just stood there, tears welling in her eyes. She was unable to mutter anything.
"Someone has been calling your communicator. Van Neem. Who is he?" the mother asked.
Sisi sat devastated, she held her head, this was too much for her to take. She got a fortune ready to solidify her position and fight for Core Bearer but her father, the very person who put her mind into it betrayed her. More than that, her contracts were also attacked.
"Sisi, you are gullible. You are not suitable for any of these. Besides, the elders were not fond of you at all. So, take another route and support your cousin, Daniel, he is a better candidate!"
"But why will they cancel my contract? I bought that room. It's mine."
"All assets you owned have been liquidated. Check your account. You owned nothing now. As for arrangements that are beneficial to the Trube, it was kept. Those weren't cancelled."
"Why?" Sisi asked, crying.
"Look Sisi. You are no longer a Core Attendant. You are now free to build your life. You have other talents you can explore." as she was speaking Sisi teleported away.
These further aggravated her damage but forced herself to take boosters. She immediately called some of her people and asked the whereabouts of Van Neem and his master.
She went to her vault, took a suitcase and then teleported to the alley. Just a distance from Marble Angle.
An SUV was parked in the parking lot. Van was outside furious meddling with his com. She knew he was calling her. She looked around and there were people around. She can't expose herself.
So she went to a hotel and waited. The moment night came she teleported inside the SUV.
"Apologies for the interruption," she said Zamright was surprised to see her. Without waiting for him to say anything, she continued, "I was an heir and now I'm not. To further punish me they cancel everything. I apologize for wasting your time. Here are the coins. I will be taking the suitcase please."
Zamright stared at her, his thoughts unknown. He took the suitcase and opened it. The whole 153 Century Blood Coins were there.
"Great Lantern travel was affected too. Why?" That's what actually worried Zamright.
"Everything I touched was affected. I'm sorry!"
"But you have another way. Right!"
"No. By using your VIP status, your Servant can process it manually!"
"The SUV?"
"Well. That at least was tangible. Also, the suitcase was free!"
"Good," Zamright said. He pulled his Blood Essence Suitcase and opened it. Her heart skipped a beat seeing it was filled to brim. But what happened next made her blood go cold. Zamright was moving the bound to her suitcase.
"Master Zamright, that is the wrong suitcase."
"I need a bank. Is there a way to get me one!" he asked.
"No. I don't have any substantial connection!" She told the truth. Zamright sighed, "It's alright then." but he continued to move them. Until he was empty.
"Lady Sisi. Certainly, there is something you can help me with. Information. A safe place to move. Trustworthy people to communicate with. By the way, keep them. I need the empty suitcase."
"I can't take it. And to tell you the truth. I really don't know anything anymore. Please take them back, and use them to build yourself in this land. Money can bend people."
Under her watch, Zamright's palm began to make a new coin. "I don't need them. I would have thrown them away if not for Van who showed me their value."
This time she swallowed and looked at him. "I can't help you. I have nothing, no one wants me in my family," she said.
"Okay."
She lingered for a moment before she disappeared to the hotel she was hiding before. This time there was this calm in her mind. 'Who is this boy? He does not look ancient at all. Maybe it was some secret old techniques he was using.'
Nonetheless, she looked at the suitcase. What could she do with it? This is too much and knowing she has it will bring problems to her.
She grabbed the suitcase and teleported to an old cathedral. She was going to hunt for information. A way to help Zamright and also for her to use the coins without attracting problems.
While she was out there hunting, Van entered the vehicle and said, "Master Zamright, she isn't accepting the call."
"She was here!" Zamright said and Van noticed his master was making more coins and putting them inside an empty Suitcase. Then Zamright briefly explained what happened.
"I have contacted some of the people I knew and they are willing to help us process our trip to the Great Lantern," Van said.
"Good."
[Two Weeks Later]
Zamright was shocked by the system of the world. Climbing the hierarchy ladder was so strict that it was maddening. They come to truly understand why emphasis was put on joining an organization only through them could one truly gain status.
The only good news in all these two weeks was that now he was on a plane to the Great Lantern. Apart from that it was tiring how people nagged him about his 153 Ultra rare heirloom.
Those who uprooted Sisi went to the people she made deals with and established another one. As it was known that she got an ultra-rare coin from him, the shameless people came.
