"No!" Zamright answered.
"What about Zamzo!" Sam asked again.
"No!"
"Which family did you belong to?" The knight asked again.
"My father's name is Zainbright. He has long passed away. What do you plan to do to me?" He asked.
"We asked the question here!" Sam said, his tone harsh. He would have made a veteran warrior shake in his boot but Zamright.
Zamright smiled a bit seeing the arrogance in the man's tone. He ignored it as he looked at the other people around. They were all focused on him.
"I have zero desire for this nation's activities. Being from a distant past I come to reminiscent about my life here and I leave."
Zamright said softly.
"We…" Sam wanted to speak but Zamright soft voice beat it to him as he continued,
"If you will be so kind and let me go, I will appreciate it."
The yellow glass hardened and froze Zamright inside while Sam turned and faced the council.
"Everything he said was the truth. But he was hiding something. Another thing is I can feel his danger, he is powerful and also has awakened his True Blessing, we can't be lenient!"
"We understand. But knowing if he was created by those annoying rebels will aid us in capturing them and exterminating them!" A council member said.
"I'm worried about the rebels but the boy. In centuries he is the only successful clone that can elicit reaction from the throne. He is able to have control for just a few minutes. That makes him dangerous and we can't wait for any more investigation!" The king's dignified voice said.
"I understand that, Your Majesty. But what if they recreate something like him. We all know that human Scientist Jyrota is very dangerous with a very dangerous True Blessing. If he can succeed now he can succeed again!"
Harma Kuri, the council member that spoke before, said again.
The Lantern Race were persecuted and turned into slaves. Their bloodline was then used to power the throne for others to control it.
But a few lantern families escaped and established a rebellion and tried to create an heir to the throne in order to free their brethren.
"We have crushed everyone they have created in the past and we will do it again!" The king said. Before he looked at an old wrinkled man with black eyes.
There were 15 people there and ten of them trembled as the old man moved. He was sitting by the side alone on a black chair wearing black cloak.
"Dark Knight. I want him dead. Execute him!" The King said.
As someone who has full authority of the throne, he knew the threat Zamright posed as such he didn't want to take any chances.
The Dark Knight stood and the room became silent, some held pendants for protection against whatever nefarious power the old man can employ.
The old man in black cloak raised his hand toward the yellow glass where Zamright was encased in and he made a grabbing motion.
The people see a beautiful energy coming out toward the old man.
Puchi!
A silver blade pierced him, the Dark Knight, from behind.
"Death to the fake King!" A woman's voice shouted. She was half transparent, wearing white attire with white hair. She was old, very old but her eyes burned with blind fury.
Sam The Royal Knight appeared behind her with a sword strike, her body vanished and appeared behind him striking him too. But his body bubbles up with power making her attack to rebound.
The other Royal Knight, a woman, stepped forward and she encased the old white haired woman with her ability.
Dark Knight straightened, strangely his body became younger than before and the wound on his body was trying to heal but a white dust was preventing that.
Dark Knight True Blessing involved the siphoning away of vitality. And he can consume the vitality to become young or heal his wound.
As someone who had lived for a century he has pushed his ability to unbelievable degree that he can withered away any human around him.
They used to call him a dark vampire. However, most preferred to meet with violent vampires than to meet him.
"I never tested something so young and tasty like this boy." The Dark Knight said with relish before he looked at the King and said, "I can even gain you additional 2 to 3 centuries from…" but he quickly dodge without finishing.
More than 20 Lantern Race captive that have been obedient attack at once. Juright was their leader.
"How dare you?" The King stood as he bellowed and immediately the air became very thick but Juright's body glowed with light which empowered all the Lanterns as they moved.
Sam The Royal Knight looked at the attacker with a sneer. He knew above all that these people were powerful but they have been tamed for far too long. Their act of rebellion was just for the wisp of hope of freedom they saw now. But it was for nought.
The King smiled and Sam's body blurred, to Juright shock, Sam was using Lantern Skill against them and in just five seconds 18 people were beheaded.
Among the survivors was a middle aged woman that managed to touch the yellow glass, but that caused her body to begin to transmute into the yellow glass until she became part of it.
"Juright, your betrayal will be faced with severe punishment!" The King said.
When Zamright was encased, he allowed himself to return to his assignment believing that he would be imprisoned for sometime until they decided what to do with him.
He expected that a valuable specimen like him would be preserved and not outright killed.
But he was wrong as a tremor reached him and a bunch of memories entered him. He saw the lifeline of numerous people, how they were persecuted in their land, how they were turned into battery, how they were killed, raped and experimented on for centuries.
And now some of these survivors were dying for him. They do not care about ruling or having the Great Lanterns as their kingdom, they only want a safe haven, right to self determination and existence without being exploited.
