Kapitel 10: The Wall

Tomura met eyes with the boy across from him, the grey haired teenagers red eyes blazed as he met the dull brown eyes of his opponent.

He dodged under a swipe and released a sudden knee into the brown eyed boys stomach.

He watched the boy drop to the floor gasping.

Tomura sighed.

After only 3 days of consistent observation and training he had already left the advanced hand to hand class in the dust.

His eyes met the bored blue eyes of wolverine who snorted. Tomura scowled, this class. The whole class didn't try.

They didn't care about getting stronger, not like he did.

He left the room in a huff, this class was too easy now.

—-

Tomura was searching the internet, finding how superpowered people had got their abilities. Spider-Man isn't a mutant, Captain America isn't a mutant, Hulk was some sort of radioactive monster.

Could he potentially get the type of strength that Spider-Man possessed.

If he had that strength and speed he truly believes in his heart that nothing on this earth could defeat him.

He felt his dry lips crack as his grin widened.

He could picture it now.

No one could ever attack without fear of repercussion, his mind raced.

How, that was his question. How could he reach this goal?

—-

He spent the next few weeks with a strong routine in mind, train at the hand to hand classes with Wolverine as his new sparring partner.

He still couldn't compete with that animal but he learned a hell of a lot.

Then once that was done, he worked in the gym for hours. He would then eat and return to his room where he would ignore his roommate and study the human body and how he could strengthen it.

The routine was simple but effective, he noticed the changes in his fighting ability fast and also noticed the muscle mass he was gradually growing on his lean form.

He also had some sort of healing factor, nothing as good as Wolverines but definitely better than a regular human given the large scar on his stomach.

Maybe that was why he was putting on muscle easier than most?

He wrote that down in a theory's page and turned to the next topic.

The Hand.

One thing he had quickly noticed however was the lack of the Hand in his head. He had searched but maybe the mutants had something to do with it?

His main running theory was that the voice was content, but that once he was in a fight.

The hand would make its presence known.

"So the boys confirmed with Xavier?" Fury asked, his tone as cold as ice.

Natasha nodded "The tracker on his clothes recently ran out of battery" she shrugged the battery life of those trackers were always iffy "But he appears to have been there a while now, and…well" she nodded towards the file on Fury's desk.

He nodded with a scowl present on his face. "He's practically an X-Man already…Damn It!" His fist crashed into the table creating a sound like the shot of a gun.

Fury's scowl only got more intense. "He was perfect"

She knew what he meant.

A teenager, no parents or guardians, no friends or companions, no memory and most importantly an ability useful for spycraft, assassination, blunt force assault.

He was an all in one package they missed out on.

Not only did they miss out on him but they also left on…a sour note to say the least.

She clenched her jaw, she didn't like this part of the job.

She didn't like it when she started the mission and she didn't like it now.

But she will do as she always does, move forward.

—-

"Hey Tomura!" Jean shouted from the front of the classroom, she was a assistant for science lessons. He didn't attend her lessons, or any lessons in fact.

He only ever showed up at Wolverines.

He hummed and nodded at the redhead and was about to walk past her open class door but was pulled in by the the beaming woman.

She only grinned harder as he almost tripped over his own feet, she rolled her eyes as her eyes rolled down his form.

"You must like Nirvana, huh?" She laughed to herself "I haven't seen you wear anything since you got here"

Tomura just shook his head. "It's uh, a pump cover" Jean looked as confused as he felt.

He still didn't know who the hell this Nirvana guy was.

"What's that?" She asked in reference to the pump cover.

Tomura shrugged, he didn't know what the hell Kaiser was talking about. He still doesn't understand gym lingo.

She shook her head in amusement but did narrow her green eyes on the teenager "you really need to get your own style, all black doesn't really work all the time"

Tomura just hummed and Jean kept going "You need a statement piece, something red, it will go with your eyes, have you got anything red?" She asked.

"This is all I have" he said calmly as he gestured to what he was wearing.

Her eyes widened and then narrowed.

She grabbed his shoulder and dragged him through the large mansion.

"We're going shopping"

Tomura snarled.

"I'm afraid I've made quite the mistake" Charles Xavier admitted to his journal, it was a tradition he had as a kid, to write in a journal of how his day went.

Now it was a bit more serious than that.

So he locked his private journal under dozens of layers of security, he like any human needed to clear his head occasionally.

And he would not burden anyone with these secrets.

"This mistake I have so foolishly made, is in regards to one boy"

Charles voice grew hard, unforgiving.

"He's an avatar, not unlike Jean. Instead of being host to the Phoenix a force of life, rebirth and some rather positive concepts."

"Tomura is host to some other being."

"An entity of destruction"

"I don't mean that in description of the entity's character…no im afraid it's much worse than that"

His voice drops to a urgent deathly whisper.

"This entity is destruction itself"

"The wall I have placed in his mind has not silenced the entity at all, it has only hidden it from Tomura"

"Once that wall comes down…I'm afraid every single urge, every ounce of power the entity has sent over, every single word."

"Will all hit Tomura at once"

Charles drew in a deep breath.

"Now, what that means is that Tomura will in that moment…go mad"

"Whether that comes about as a murdering psychopath, a sobbing lunatic or a brain dead teenager, I cannot tell."

"I do not know if recovery would even be possible for the boy, it has been near a month and that entity has sent thousands of messages and feelings of anger and destruction his way"

"Simply put, at this moment in time…I can only pray"
