Kapitel 82: Conquering Emma - Part 2

Yeah, yeah. Poor you~ She found Erland's words cowardly and pathetic. Clearly, he had been searching for an excuse to leave a path he should have never taken just as Elise had said before. But Rosa was more interested in Emma's reaction now that her usually proud or cold features were starting to look angry too.

"Take your hand off me!" Emma swatted at her brother's hand on her shoulder but her efforts were futile. She struggled again without managing to free herself from his grip and finally shrieked, "Erland! You're hurting me!"

His knuckles bulged as his grip tightened and a helpless Emma could only glare at him with defiance in her green eyes.

I have to use this situation to my advantage. Rosa snuck back to the middle of the tent then made a noisy gasp that drew the attention of the two siblings to her.

"Counselor... And... Priest Erland?"

"Dame Rose," Emma sighed in relief.
