Kapitel 26: Chapter 26
Daniel, who was in the back yard meditating, opened his eyes slowly, revealing a pair of glowing purple eyes that were so calm without any fluctuations or shaking.
He exhaled a breath that was cold and visible yet at the same time warm. This contradiction what made this specialty in Daniel. Once you become near him, you feel calm and relaxed, once you see him you feel this attraction toward him, as if something telling you to go and stay near him.
Daniel's special energy that with every passing year, became more chaotic and uncontrollable, was at the same time calm and stable. It was a contradicted traits that was unusual.
Every energy in the universe had a trait that distinguished it from the other types, like for example, Fire, it reflects the destruction and anger, Water reflects the stability and calmness and so on.
But Daniel couldn't find what type of energy it was, and it clearly wasn't chaos energy because if it was chaos then Daniel wouldn't be this calm at all and would go crazy killing and destroying everything around not differentiating an ally from an enemy, but his energy wasn't like that.
Although it was chaotic, it was calm at the same time giving this feeling of contradiction.
And he felt that once he knew what was this energy, he would find his way in controlling it, it was feeling but Daniel didn't want to shrug it off.
'I can only meditate for now. This is what I have to do.'
Then Daniel who was sitting on the ground crosslegged, closed his eyes again and back to meditating.
But this time, he felt like being drown into something, like something was attracting him, no, it was more like calling him, yes, it was this feeling.
And Daniel wanted to know what it was that was calling him, so he focused even more at that feeling and started to get closer and closer to the thing that was calling him.
Until finally, he opened his eyes to find himself surrounded by darkness from every direction, but he didn't panic or shake, he just looked ahead calmly without moving.
"Hoo~ so you can still keep your calm amidst this cold darkness, I must admit that your are more than I thought." A deep rough and distorted voice sounded in the place but didn't know where it was coming from because he felt like it sounded from all directions.
But somehow, he felt this voice familiar.
"This darkness that no one could ever keep his calm and sanity for a second once he stepped into it, you who kept his sanity and calmness in this place for this long must be proud." The voice continued.
"Who...are you?" Daniel said.
"Oh, sorry for not introducing myself from the beginning. Hmmm, let's see, simply speaking I'M YOU."
"?!" Daniel was surprised by what that voice said. Because it was clearly confusing, telling him that he was him, like they are the same person?!
This is not a normal thing to say to someone you had just met.
"Ahh, I know that look, you are confused by what I said, right? Right? Hahahaha....Haaah, well can't be blaming you, after all this is our first time meeting. But you saw me before and looked at me and felt that connection between you and me, but I will give you some time to process this carefully before we meet again, then until then." The deep rough and distorted voice said again before Daniel felt some force grabbing him out of this place and he couldn't resist this force.
It was like he was being kicked out of here or something. Then before long, he found himself outside looking at the usual training yard but he was panting heavily and sweating buckets.
This is the first time something like this had happened to him.
'Just what was that just now? That voice and what it said, I want to know....but not now, I want to sleep somehow.' Daniel muttered inwardly before he got up with heavy breaths and slightly shaking body before trying to teleport to his room but...he couldn't.
And due to his sudden tiredness, be didn't have the energy to think about why this happened and so on, so he he made his way to the bedroom with the only thought of sleeping in his mind.
It was the first time he felt and experienced something like this.
No one was in the mansion as his two wives went shopping while Grayfia returned to the underworld for some important matters.
So he was alone in the mansion.
Daniel was walking with difficulty as his breaths got heavier and heavier, but then from his shadow, Beru got out and held his King.
"My Liege."
"Take me, to my bedroom." He said with no shaking in his voice as he didn't want to appear weak.
"As you wish, My Liege. Then, excuse me." Then Beru picked Daniel up and in a speed of light, got to the bedroom and put Daniel in the bed.
Beru was so worried about him as he felt the power of the entity that spoke to Daniel, and the rest of his shadows too.
He felt his instincts screaming to him, and although he didn't see what Daniel saw, he still felt slightly, the power of that entity that spoke to his King.
He wondered how his King stood in front of that being with such calmness.
But that wasn't to be worried about now, his King took the priority.
After putting Daniel in the bed, Beru stood beside his King's bed, looking at him to notice any signs of waking up while at the same time ordered two shadow soldiers to stand in front of the door to guard it, although it was unnecessary as no one could even enter the mansion but he was a very loyal soldier and his King's protection took top priority over everything. This is Beru and this is how he is.

In the living room, a red magic circle of the Gremory appeared at the corner of the room, then in the next second, a person appeared.
It was a silver haired woman with voluptuous body waring a maid outfit.
She was Grayfia Lucifuge, a maid serving the house of the Gremory.
She had come here to tell Daniel about some important things that could endanger her lady and Rias, she was hoping for him to help her because she couldn't do anything because of her place as a maid, although she was strong, but strength is like nothing in front of true power.
Her lady was being heavily watched by Zeotiucs's shadows and Rias didn't know anything about this.
But the silver haired lady forgot that Daniel already planted his shadows in the underworld with one of them in Zeotiucs's shadow, so he could know what had happened and listen to his plans. But due to the recent happenings, he couldn't contact his shadow soldier to be informed of the recent events that had happened in the house of the Gremory.
She walked to the training yard as this was the place that she knew he went to before she went back to the underworld. But once she got there, she didn't find anyone, making her look confused but somehow she felt her heart racing suddenly and felt like something bad had happened to the man she was looking for, giving her a feeling of nervousness and worry, a feeling that she had never felt before.
She instinctively walked to the second floor and headed to the master bedroom where Daniel slept with his wives and where she used to watch them doing their nighty activities while playing with herself.
After all, watching some people doing these kind of activities for years could make the person eager to do it or at least try the feeling of pleasure, but right now isn't the time for that as the feeling in the heart of the silver haired maid was making her uncomfortable.
Once she reached the bedroom, she found two shadow soldiers standing on both sides of the door like some guardians which made the feeling in her heart increase.
The two shadows noticed her and blocked her way.
"What business do you have with our Liege?" One of the shadows said with such imposing voice.
"I have some important matters to attend with your Liege, they are urgent and can't be delayed." Grayfia said with calm cold voice while having such an expressionless face but inside she was nervous.
She didn't know why she felt like that because it was her first time to feel like this, but surly yet slowly she will uncover the mystery behind her feeling but right now, she need to meet Daniel.
The two shadow soldiers seemed to not intend to let her in because they had orders from their marshall to not let anyone in because their Liege seemed to be sleeping because of tiredness but they knew that it was something else as they too felt the power of the entity that was before their Liege.
But before they could say anything to Grayfia, a voice message came to them.
<Let her in, she is one of my Liege's people>
<Yes>
Then the two stepped aside and let her to go in the bedroom. Grayfia nodded at them and entered the bedroom while the two shadows closes the door behind her.
Inside, she saw Beru, a giant terrifying ant standing beside the bed where Daniel was sleeping. She hadn't seen Beru before as she only had seen Igris and some normal shadow soldiers.
Beru didn't say any words and just stood there with his hands behind his back while looking at his King with such sadness in his eyes.
It's not like he is dead, okay. It's just he is tired and breathing heavily, just some rest will do good for him.
So calm down mate.
Grayfia noticed his gaze and looked at the direction he was looking at but his body was blocking what he was looking at. Only the a pair of legs could be seen but Grayfia knew too well to whom those pair of legs belong to.
It's non other than Daniel, the man who trained Rias and caused her a new swirl of emotions to run wild inside her.
She felt her heart drop at that sight, but she wanted to get a closer look and see his condition, so she walked toward the bed to see Daniel closely.
And what she saw made her eyes waver for a second before turning to normal. She saw Daniel laying down on the bed with his eyes closed and breathing erratically while sweating.
It was the first time she had seen Daniel look like this, so fragile and weak, a side she hadn't seen before as he always looked cool and strong in front of them.
But this state, it's like he is suffering.
"What happened to him?" She asked with the same cold voice.
But Beru didn't talk and just kept looking at Daniel.
And that made Grayfia slightly angry and annoyed as he was clearly ignoring her but she sighed softly before calming down.
"I know what you want, but it's not my place to tell you because it's a matter concerning my Liege and you clearly aren't his woman to have such a privilege."
"Then why you let me in?"
"Because you are one of My Liege's people, you could only observe for now, my Liege will wake up after some rest." Beru said calmly while still looking at Daniel as he started ignoring her completely after he said that. Only his Liege mattered to him.
Grayfia was both angry and disappointed. She can't do anything for Daniel because she wasn't his woman. Just hearing this sentence made her disappointed and annoyed, a feeling so new to her and she didn't understand very well. But time will tell as she will slowly get to know her new feelings step by step.
That feeling made her grit her teeth and clutch her hands into fists while standing looking at Daniel silently, watching him suffering not able to do anything because she don't know the reason.
But then the door opened with a loud bang revealing two women, one with striking golden hair and the other with starless black hair.
They were Lily and Shuri.
They looked at the bed and immediately ran at it only to see the same sight as Grayfia.
Worry and anxiousness filled their heart once they saw his state, closing his eyes while breathing erratically and heavily and sweating as if suffering so hard.
Which wasn't far from the truth as he was suffering from a change in his soul causing him to feel this tired and breathing so heavily.
The reason?
Because 'it' became awake and began to integrate.
This is the only thing I could say regarding this situation...for now.
"What the hell happened to my darling?" Lily muttered with cold voice while unconsciously releasing her divine energy that affected the surroundings and the whole mansion casting a huge pressure.
But then, a hand grabbed her shoulder making her calm down. It was Shuri as she looked at Lily with a look saying 'it's not the time for that right now' which made her sigh and look at Beru for answer.
Beru turned and looked at Lily and Shuri, and bowed slightly.
"My Liege experienced something strange few hours ago that not me and the other shadows could understand, it all happen when he was mediating," He said before turning back at his Liege and continued.
"Only my Liege knows what happened, for now he only need some rest to recover."
Although both wives weren't satisfied with this explanation but they decided to wait for their husband to wake up to know what happened from him in detail.
On the other hand, Grayfia was still looking at Daniel with nervousness and worry while clutching her hands tightly that it bled but still had the same cold and expressionless face.
A thing that neither Lily nor Shuri had noticed because they put all their concentration on their husband.
They waited patiently for him to wake up, not leaving the room for even a second.
Just waiting for now.
