Kapitel 88: Chapter Eighty-seven

♦September's POV♦

I wake up to see Neruda staring at me weirdly, the tips of his hair are wet and the white is starting to darken, Arianna's glamour was fading.

"Good morning." I greet, groggily rubbing my eyes. "What's wrong?"

He blinks like he hadn't realized he was even staring. "Sorry, nothing." He murmured quickly, bending down to pull on his shoes. "Good morning, I'll leave the room to you." He says, pushing a hand through his wild hair. "You should be down in ten minutes tops." He concludes going out.

I just follow his hurried movements with my eyes, still sleepy and wondering what the hell what his deal.

I collapse on the bed again when the door clicks shut, still needing a few moments of shut-eye but Neruda definitely hadn't been kidding when he said I had ten minutes, I really wanted to eat before we would begin the stressful day."
