Kapitel 82: Chapter Eighty-one

Almost like Arianna's words summoned him, Neruda makes his entrance, the idiot is just wearing an unbuttoned black silk shirt that has none of the buttons done up.

Nadia whips her head around, her eyes going up and down his body appreciatively. "Well hello."

"Boyfriend here." Ciaran waves a hand in front of her face.

"Well, Neruda is here." September says in a choked voice and I glance in her direction to see her looking at everywhere but at the hickies on his neck, her face an uncomfortable red and I want to smack Neruda on the upside of his head.

Everyone else's eyes widen as they silently take in the implications of the red love bites, but luckily no one points it out.

"What's happening when I get here?" He asks in a gruff voice, settling in to eat.

"Ari says she has some info from Hazel." Zach says quietly, watching September's reaction curiously.

Neruda glances at Arianna. "You do?"
