When Aviana stared at her mother for a while, the pain she noticed in her eyes also hurt her. 

Even in the past, she was aware of how her mother cared for her but it was always hard for her to believe it wholeheartedly, especially while also knowing that her mother always turned a blind eye to her sufferings.

Now, after hearing what her mother said, she felt as if all her wounds were healed.

It's funny how just a few words from someone could make one feel so better!

"I heard everything from Dad," Aviana Valos finally said to her mother who looked more than surprised. "You don't have to apologize, Mom. I admit it's hard but... I understand."
