The intensity of the moment with Elena was palpable, her every touch and whisper filling me with an overwhelming sense of love and desire. As I moved my lips down her neck, I could feel her tension, a subtle stiffness that hadn't been there moments before. I paused, looking up into her eyes, and saw the flicker of fear mingling with her passion. 

"What's wrong?" I asked softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. 

She bit her lip, hesitating. "I... I keep thinking about your teeth. About you biting me."

Her words hit me like a punch to the gut. I had been so consumed by my own emotions that I hadn't considered how my vampiric nature might affect her during our intimate moments. I wanted nothing more than to make her feel safe and loved, not scared.

"Elena," I said gently, cupping her face in my hands. "I would never bite you without your consent. I promise, I won't do anything you don't want. You're safe with me."
