Kapitel 350: Chauffeur?

The chaos started before the coffee had even finished brewing.

I woke up to the sound of Elena muttering in her sleep. A quick glance at her face revealed a scowl that would have terrified most people. Not me, though. I've seen her fight with stubborn eyeliner, and trust me, that's worse.

"Who's stealing my shoes?" she mumbled.

I bit back a laugh and leaned closer. "What shoes, mi amor?"

"The sparkly ones... Stop it!" She swatted the air as if fending off an invisible thief.

This was the woman who captivated audiences, walked runways with effortless grace, and somehow managed to trip over her own feet when distracted by a sandwich. It was impossible not to adore her.

I gently kissed her forehead, but she stirred awake, her scowl deepening. "Carmen, are you... laughing at me?"

"No," I said, completely unconvincing. "I would never."
