Kapitel 39: Hallucinating

Samara stood from the table, she had barely eaten a thing and now her mother was asking her to go freshen up?? For the second time in the morning?? She wondered if she could keep what she was feeling any longer. She wanted to burst out crying but she was a strong girl. 'Samara, don't cry. You're strong. You should let that sink in your head, okay?' She encouraged herself. It was the most she could do right now.

Her feet carried her up the stairs. Tired, she placed her hand on the door and it made a creaking sound. Strange, she was sure she had locked the door before she went downstairs, and what's with that sound?

She slowly opened it and stepped in, she could find no one in here and it made her wonder if she was in a dream. Was she? No...she could clearly remember, she had locked the door. 

Did her mother perhaps unlock it? But she was at the dining table the whole time. It couldn't be her. Who?
