Kapitel 3: Chapter 3: One Month
Taking a flip phone out of his pocket, Haru quickly dialed Kyo's number. However, after a moment, all that he heard was the call failing.
'Fuck!' Haru thought before quickly turning around and walking quickly to Tsukune and Moka who had walked further ahead.
"Tsukune, we need to talk right now," Haru said, his voice clearly showing his urgency.
"Uh, sure," Tsukune replied whilst Moka looked confusedly at the two.
After practically dragging his brother away from the girl, Haru held Tsukune's shoulders as he spoke.
"We have to get out of here, and fast."
"What do you mean? What's wrong Haru, you're acting weird." Tsukune questioned, his tone of voice clearly showing his confusion at Haru's words.
"What do you mean?" Haru repeated Tsukune's words as his eyes grew frantic.
"Do you have eyes on your head or your ass Tsukune, Look around you. Does this place look normal, does what that girl did to you look normal? She fucking drank your blood whilst we are in the middle of a barren land that is next to a blood-red sea and going to a school called Yokai Academy, Yokai Tsukune!!" Haru said to his brother, making sure to keep his words as soft as possible so that Moka wouldn't hear them.
At his words, Tsukune finally seemed to realize the situation as his own eyes grew wide.
"You mean, she... she wasn't lying!!" Tsukune almost screamed before Haru placed his hand over his mouth.
"Shut up, don't scream, do you want to die that badly?" Haru said before he started taking deep breaths, calming himself down.
'Calm down, panicking won't help us at all in this situation.' Haru thought to himself before he nodded his head to Tsukune.
"Yes I don't think she was lying, what we need to do now is get back onto that bus and head out of this place without anyone noticing that we are actually humans. Do you understand? No one should know what we are." Haru said his eyes sharpening as he looked at Tsukune sharply.
"Yes, all right," Tsukune replied after a moment of silence, the boy still looked shocked and outright frightened however he managed to keep a semblance of control.
*Sigh*
"Let's first ask Moka if she knows when the bus will be coming back, I'll do the questioning, you just act as normal alright? Don't worry Tsukune, I'll get us out of here." Haru said as he patted his brother's shoulder reassuringly.
"All right Haru," Tsukune said as he took a deep breath himself, trying to calm down.
"Good, now come," Haru said before he started walking toward Moka.
"Hey Moka, do you know when the bus comes back? Me and Tsukune just remembered something extremely important that we forgot in the Human world." Haru said as he showed the girl a soft smile.
Moka raised her index finger to her lips and made a thinking expression before shaking her head.
"I don't know Haru, I'm sure the school staff knows however so you could try asking them. We should really get going however as we might be getting really late for our first day of class."
"Right, yeah let's do that," Haru replied with a smile whilst Tsukune followed him.
The three of them headed to the school.
A while later, the three of them arrived in front of a large building, fashioned to look like a haunted house almost with spider cobwebs and a dark gloomy atmosphere governing it.
'Really fitting the theme aren't we?' Haru thought as he kept his eyes focused around him, looking around at every student they passed as they headed inside the school.
'They all look like normal humans, but this girl does as well.' Haru thought as he turned his gaze toward Moka Akashiya.
Once inside, the three found themselves separating as Moka headed to the bathroom whilst Haru and Tsukune headed to the school's staff office immediately.
Arriving there, the two of them saw an old woman behind the counter.
"Hello, I'm Haru Aono and this is my brother Tsukune Aono, we wanted to ask when the bus heading to the Human World comes back. We actually forgot something really important back there." Haru said as he looked at the woman who raised her gaze and looked at the two.
"Hello there kid, sorry to say but the bus only comes once a month so you will have to wait for it until next month." The woman said as she shook her head at the two.
'Next month!!' The same thought passed through both Tsukune's and Haru's heads at the same time.
"I see, thank you. We have to get going now, goodbye and thanks once more for the help." Haru said as he gave the woman a light bow and turned around, dragging Tsukune away with him.
"We're going to class, do not do anything suspicious, leave everything else to me, as long as you don't scream what we are out loud then I'll manage everything else. All right Tsukune?" Haru said as he dragged his brother with him whilst speaking softly.
"Yes, I'll do it Haru don't worry," Tsukune said his face which had been stricken with terror noticeably softening at Haru's words.
It had always been like this since they were kids, Haru would always be there for him, to protect him and make sure that he was safe, no matter what.
What Tsukune didn't notice was the fact that Haru's hands were shaking, his eyes slightly widening as he walked at a fast pace toward their class.
Once arriving there, Haru and Tsukune headed inside, it seemed like the class was almost full by the time the two arrived.
Picking a seat by the window at the end of class, Haru sat in front of Tsukune and the two waited.
Moments later, their teacher came into the classroom.
Looking at her, Haru's hands clenched into fists.
'Cat ears and a tail? I'm guessing those are real.'

Here's the chapter for Rosario: Time Loop.
I wanted to portray Haru's humanity in this chapter a little and I hoped I did a decent enough job at portraying a human high schooler who has been thrust into this situation whilst having to protect his little brother.
I also changed it so that the Bus doesn't come back until after a month unlike in the Canon where Tsukune had the chance to go back.
To me, it just looks illogical to not go back if you have the chance.
